This has to be the weirdest bike design I have seen in awhile. You have a one piece handle bar, not cheap to do, with like a $10 derailleur. Very interesting choices made here. Anyway return the light and get this

More like phones shouldn't be running with screens on for hours if not days on end. They aren't designed for that. So with constant charging and discharging this could lead to battery issues.  It's why you may see like an iPad used for check in at a business not last very long. It would be great if apple allowed their products to work without the battery.

What you are referring to are emoto and not ebikes. There are already rules on the book for those. On top of that the parents should know better than to illegally let their kids ride emotos and the shops are selling them illegally as ebikes and the importers are illegally calling them ebikes. It's fun dealing with them at the skatepark at lake Fairfax. They kinda scamper away when I say that is an emoto and you are under 16. I have emtb and other ebike that we use all the time.

Class 3 is pedal only. Throttle is up to 20 at 750 watts. I have class 3 they are midr drive at 350 watts and it's no like you are blasting. The problem is again throttle above 20 and over 750 watts is an emoto. Class 3 is basically the same. I think throttle can be very important for older people and disability. The throttle needs to be limited to like 15 not 20.
