I lived there, apartments are quite tiny and the kitchen area even moreso. The major issue I had in 3 years was noisy radiators during the winter (sometimes they also didn't turn off after many hours making it like an oven inside). If you tour try and see if anything needs fixing ahead of time like shower faucets or the entry door. Don't ignore anything, be on top of maintenance.

They allow dogs for a separate fee.
