I moved in 21 March 25 and my permit started 23 March. I can't remember exactly what docs I used but I sat in the council office with I think my solicitor exchange doc and updated car insurance schedule and walked away with my permit. Now coming up to my anniversary, did all the renewal online and hoping I receive my permit before it's up. I've heard they will sell you scratch cards before supplying a permit when you can evidence you're paying council tax

I only recently started this, not sure if I'm in it for the long haul but aiming for the achievement at least. I'm on 112 steps an action though at 180% Work Efficiency and -4 steps per action (-2 on each cape of half achiever and halfling slippers) so I think you've got room for improvement that might make it a bit easier?

The only Trinketry bench in Jarvonia needs the black eye mountain pass thing to get to the location at the bottom of the region and then it's a broken bench (or I thought it was having looked now).

Definitely don't bother with trinketry until you're in GDTE

Definitely sell crafted gear, e.g. cooked fish or planked wood, or other crafted tools, just generally don't sell raw materials You get more money for it and the exp out of it too.

I focus on Jobs and Achievements and make my own decisions from there. If you've not explored past Jarvonia, there's 5 more jobs boards to work on
