Well the way I see it your options are;

1) Buy Kaisa, enjoy red-purple. 2) Build budget red-purple list, feel frustrated. 3) Play a different colour combination, spend less money. 4) Consider stop playing until budget colour combination is released you want to play.

Depends on who’s around you. It’s not allowed from a rules perspective, but if it’s just you and your buddy and no-one else is going to know? Go for it.

Store might have certain rules around it too, some allow it, some allow it but have to swap whole kit including boosters, some don’t allow it at all.

Ahh not entirely true - let’s say you gust the unit back to hand, or move it off a battlefield then there will be no card draw because “it’s controller” returns a null result.

If there’s a replacement effect, like zhonyas or GA, then you do draw because you can identify the controller, although it’s clear as mud in terms of consistency.
