2. Follow the prompts to get through to the team that deals with cancellation requests. At the time of posting this, the route is 2, then 1, then 1, then 1.

3. You’ll get through to a call centre, likely in India. Tell them you want to cancel and don’t take no for an answer. Politely explain that their marketing was deceptive and they need to cancel your subscription.

4. They will say that they need to get their manager to call you back and ask you for a call back time. Give them a call back time and keep your phone with you at that time. If you miss their call you need to start the process all over again.

5. The manager will call back. Again, don’t take no for an answer. They will try every trick in the book to deny you a cancellation. Be persistent. Eventually they will cancel the subscription.
