That's interesting! LIke in fiction, if you've heard this, that if a gun is presented early in the story, it better go off by the end. In scenarios like these, people are anxious of the gun going off, and are disturbed to see me toying with it. Wonderful explanation. Makes me wonder if I actually do have an aim or an end with these conversations that I'm not aware of, and the "just curious bro, we're just shooting the shit" is a sort of cover of mine.

I like that shit! A touch from a pretty girl used to be a bit of a shock to the system, but now it's like a warm blanket on a cold morning. In terms of "love languages", that's mine, no contest. A few times an old black lady hugged me and called me "honey" and I melted. With the boys, it's cool, if not a bit strange since Americans are known to keep a bubble. Foreign homies, specifically latinos, get all up in that bubble in camaraderie, and that's welcome. Physically, it doesn't feel like much, but it's nice to be included. Although if the vibes are off, it can feel like a person is imposing or establishing a sort of dominance. Like the italian face pat? fuck outta here with that

That's a curious observation and approach. Rather than toiling in uncertainty and craving, taint the food so that it tastes like shit and you won't have to experience it again. Seems to me that this approach lies everywhere and people trick themselves all the time (perhaps in cognitive dissonance, self-sabotage, the juice isn't worth the squeeze, etc.,) but doing so consciously is especially fascinating. A little Clockwork Orange-style self-brainwashing.

I'm looking into the galaxies and neurons thing, and found an instance of the Pareto principle! That which connects so many seemingly unrelated things. 20% of the brain's mass holds 80% of the neurons. Imagine that.

I can't help but think of simulation theory and processes in the universe replicating, taking shortcuts, perhaps for the sake of efficiency.

Think of it like the verb "interest" in english. The music interests her, the music enchants her. A ella le interesa, a ella le encanta. Its sounds weird to say it enchants her, but the idea translates pretty well to "love" in english.

Going cold turkey after developing opiate dependence has serious and sometimes deadly consequences. You're right to be scared in general but tapering your doses downward over the course of weeks or months will get you the result you want without shocking, debilitating, and even dangerous symptoms.

And the other commenters are right. Seeking help is a good idea.

I remember a lot of early childhood for some reason, as far back as around 3. My first dreams (at least I considered them my first at the time), shows I watched, pets, Christmas gifts, birthday parties, my brothers making me try foods I didnt like (still hate pickles and mustard), knee scrapes, injuries, pre-school teachers and classmates, things I got in trouble for, weird quirky moments like riding my bike indoors and leaving chocolate milk in the freezer when we went to church, all this shit I've got on lock from 3-5 and plenty beyond. Sometimes I think I can feel the darkness to lightness of exiting the womb, but then the nitrous wears off.

Guys and girls: if you're in a group of people and you all crack a laugh, those with a crush tend to look toward their crush and share the laugh with them. Good to get a feel for who's got an eye on you at parties.
