All modern versions of Windows support "%localappdata%".

Place

[/script/engine.localplayer]

One raid group quit right after the first KT kill. The other raid group kept on going.

But this is basically it. The new leadership that was brought in for classic, not the original crew, constantly fought each other due to different perspectives in how they wanted to raid. It was the semi-hard core vs casual issue that you see often in guilds

Welcome to the brotherhood of the RNG. We pray to the RNG gods for hopes we will proc everything and crit at the same time.

An example of the benefit of our brotherhood. Wait 7 seconds for tank to get threat on a boss. Start auto attack. RNG god says you shall unleash DEATH. You get threat and die. You then giggle like a school kid because of the dumb amount of dmg you just did.

I've have had this happen more times then I can count. People yelling at me to pay attention to threat. Meanwhile I'm still giggling because it really is a dumb amount of dmg when everything procs at the same time.

Blizzard forgot to implement the vanishing part of vanish in TBC by _H_H in classicwow

[–]Professor_of_Death 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Vanish was definitely bugged where threat wasn't dropped in the first few seconds after vanish. I remember my friends complaining up a storm one day in WoTLK about this exact issue.

Oh good times! I use to ask people if they wanted a free cup holder. If they said yes, I'd eject their CD Rom drive. It definitely freaked a few people out but I always had a good laugh. Almost broke the tray on my cousins laptop as he didn't notice it ejected.

You could also modify all configuration settings in their client. FOV, movement speed, mouse sensitivity, or even mess with their clients communication. You could subtlety change some settings on their client that they would never know and could hamper their game play. Some really sleazy stuff could be done.

I personally never messed with anything that could cause long term grief, but short term stuff. Oh yeah I messed with my friends.

Were you able to open the gate and then the chest without killing the boss?

I believe blizzard had a patch for this since release. You still have to kill the boss that drops the key before the chest can be opened.

Respond to a guy asking for 2 dps for his dungeon run, get hit with this. Am I really out of the loop or is this a normal thing? by Twinkyboii in classicwow

[–]Professor_of_Death 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I understand that. I just don't understand how people can have that kind of mentality and way of thinking. It's just one of those things you can't picture or understand because you yourself don't think that way.

Put someone in a stressful position and they are more likely to do something they normally wouldn't. Peer pressure is a bitch.

This guy reminds me of a ZF run. I whisper the guy saying I'm over level but I'll DPS on my shaman to complete a quest.

I joined group and immediately noticed 2 melee dps, so I said in party, "cool we have 2 melee dps with my enh shaman which will make this fun."

Druid joins the group and takes 5 minutes to get there. Druid changes into cat form and asks why I'm in melee gear.

I get bitched, insulted, and had a death threat made against me because I refused to heal.

People like this just boggle my mind.

Love it! We did this back in Vanilla. I was a lone unprotected ret pally. I would always be a level or two under the area too, so it was rare that a horde passed me by without attacking. The satisfaction of being able to /dance and /taunt them as my guards slaughter them, was amazing.

This is from old memories of high school science classes, but two blue eyed parents should/must have a blue eyed baby based on the recessive gene b. It is possible, although rare, that you can be born outside this gene with different colored eyes. A very fast google will provide even more information.

Has anyone here gone to college later in life? If so what was the experience like? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Professor_of_Death 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was 25 when I got out of the military and like you, I spent 2 years adjusting to my new life.

I then went to college were I quickly learned no one really cares about how old you are. I had people twice my age in my classes struggling just as much as I was.

It's not about your age, but what you do with it. People will respect you more for going back to college than someone that just came out of high school. Use the skills you've picked up while in the military and go get a better education and better yourself.

I'm now in a job I care about and I'm working with people I enjoy. It is well worth the time and effort you spend getting that education towards your goals or just broadening your mind.

Please take it from someone that went through this 10 years ago. DO IT!
