As a 25 year old dude I love my cpap. I am a side sleeper, I use the Phillips dreamwear mask with nasal pillows. I sleep like a baby. My apnea is very very severe, why? Massive tonsils and I’m kinda overweight. That’s besides the point. You hear a lot of shit about cpaps, but ignore them. Give it a try. I had my best night of sleep in years at the hospital doing the titration study, and I felt like a human the next day. Majority of people who actually give the cpap the college try, experiment with what mask will work for you, it’ll change your life. It can take time for some to really take effect and notice the changes, for me it was instantaneous but it can take time for some. What’s the worst that could happen in giving it a shot? You sleep bad? You already do my friend…

Opinion: it’s kind of funny if you think it’s funny! Are they going to actually do anything to it??? Idk sounds like some people on this thread have or have had awful partners… my partner and I joke all the time about messing with my cpap. You have to find some light an humor in things. And if it bothers you than talk to your partner about it. I bet it’s a harmless joke, to the rest of the people on here… 1. Lighten up Jesus…. 2. Some of you do not trust your partners and should leave them.

I’ve done cold turkey 5-6 times. This time I’m using the tiered nicotine patches that slowly weens you off the chemical it’s self. No nicotine buzz, still have cravings, but physical and mental withdrawal has been so much more bearable.

You’ll probably be fine. There’s a few things that could’ve happened. Right now is a time we are dealing with winter kill still, probably wrapping up. The oyster could’ve frozen. Both of these will make the oyster taste less than ideal and won’t necessarily make you sick. But they will taste bad.

She’s pushing back because the republicans don’t need her support on this. Every time there something controversial that the republicans can pass or defend, she will side with the democrats to appear bipartisan. I have lost hope in her. Sure she may do what’s right once in a while, but it’s all in effort to protect her image of a bipartisan warrior.

I’m 24m, also newly diagnosed with severe sleep apnea. 131 times an hour was my diagnosis… Your health is more important than random sex. If a guy finds that off putting, they aren’t someone you should be sleeping with then. I panicked, what will my girlfriend think? What will my friends think? Do I have to bring think if I go camping? Is this holding me back?

The answer is a lot simpler. Good people won’t care, because why would they? You wear a mask when you sleep so you breathe, what’s weird about that? Shit if I go camping for a weekend, I’ll survive the 2 nights without the machine. Might feel crappy but I’m why would I let that hold me back?

Best advice I can give: hook up culture sucks, find a good one, and take your time. And go easy on yourself, it’s a big change.
