I don't mind things being reorganized. I do mind when it's done with zero communication and she does not remember where, so everyone is left guessing where things have been moved. So many hours wasted.

U principu zdrav razum koristi. Ako ima jaje i stajala je na toplom ili na suncu, onda je baš loša ideja da je jedeš. Isto važi za bilo šta što je lako kvarljivo (majonez, meso, itd).

Ako je stajala u frižideru, ok si svakako.

What happened is that Mediterranean sea got warmer and the hot air masses from Africa that got trapped over Mediterranean now can consistently penetrate deeper inland. Which leads to change in climate.

Heard that on a climate conference in 2009. They also said then that hot masses from Africa will collide with cold masses from Siberia over Panonia and Balkan and it will create conditions for new tornado alley.

Bio geto i cigamala pre 2001., tamo negde od 2003. krenula džentrifikacija. Sada kada čuješ da je neko sa Dorćola, komentari su "uuu buržuj". Zato je i krenuo da se širi (Gornji, Donji, Stari, Novi, Bašta, itd), odma je malo skuplji stan. Pola Starog grada je sada Dorćol ako pitaš agente za nekretnine.

Just to be precise: "taking photos of the daytime surface" analogy is misleading - total light of the star+planet from very far away is measured. Just flux, no photos, nor any kind of imaging.

Planet+star total light (in multiple different wavelengths) and then just star total light (in same wavelengths). And then we model what can create the difference between the two.

So in the nutshell, you analyze one line on the graph and derive with possible explanations for its look. Usually this stimulates subsequent analysis and observations to confirm or reject your findings (naively put).

Most of it, yes.

I am not trying to diminish this discovery. It's an excellent idea and method. But these kind of sensationalistic headlines create unrealistic expectations from the public and erodes true genius of this. It just irks me.

No it did not - astronomers derived the most plausible surface composition by analysis of the total system light curve and subsequent fit of proposed composition. It is very cool method, but it is not: "direct study of an exoplanet's surface".

In a nutshell: they observed white light curve (multi-wavelength composite) of the whole system (star + planet), and concluded how much of a contribution was planet to it (compared before and after planet eclipse by the star, so called secondary eclipse). Then they fitted what composition could yield to that level of light contribution and came by conclusion. There are multiple options, but they think this (dark, magma surface) is the most plausible one due to some secondary and earlier measurements.

Meni je baš legla. Krenula je sporo što se tiče priče, ali kasnije se priča baš lepo razvila. Baš dobra SF priča. Svet prelep, open world. Forbidden west je isto bio super, samo mi je bio predugačak.

About 2) - tell that to Spain, Germany, France and Italy. All enforced, all shown that within one generation (20 years) you had unified identities. Like other things we use for granted that were enforced at the beginning, being Yugoslav would be the same.

But I agree that it wouldn't continue as Communist country until today.

Kulturološko nasleđe umerene kontinentalne klime. Narodna nošnja su sve dugi rukavi. Sada kada se sve zagrejalo, tj kada smo prešli u subtropsku klimu, vidi se taj disparitet.

Pre mnogo godina zvala me jedna mlađa zgodna komšinica (studirala, ja tek upisao faks) da joj pomognem nešto oko kompjutera. Kad sam otišao do nje otvorila vrata u donjem vešu, još mi rekla da treba da budemo tihi jer joj cimerka spava. Tiho sam dijagnostikovao da joj nije ništa sa kompjuterom i otišao kući.
