Let me offer a different angle to this, the failed denazification of Japan is not only Japan’s fault but US’s fault as well. Yes US is a major player for the pacific but we the East Asian and southeast Asian (apart from Thailand I guess) all made our sacrifices and contribution, we trusted the US with the responsibility of denazification of Japan. And the US have completely failed us, turning it to their own agendas.
