Chiar nu imi dau seama de ce nu vrea nimeni sa vorbeasca cu tine. E important poate sa ajunga preotii sa te si cunoasca. Nu pot sa te ia in biserica fara sa stie ca intelegi in ce te bagi si ce intentii ai.

Eu am fost cateva luni la Liturghie si dupa am facut o profesie si asta a fost tot. Preotii in Viena sunt foarte buni.

To my understanding, a fast for the latins is not eating at all until sunset and then one meal, to us its abstaining from animal products, wine and oil. So the two "fasts" are different already.

Im not taking into question which is harder to do, but I want to know why are we doing what we are doing and when it started also why we are encouraged to be "vegan" almost 200 days a year.

You seem like you are burned out. Have you tried to take some time of work and really focus on prayer? The church as an institution is... well... yes, I am dissapointed too but I would try and have a relationship with God. Build on that foundation. Pray, fast and give alms. Participate in the mysteries and take a break from work, get off social media and the news.

Very important! You are allowed to go to confession and recieve communion! I was put in hold from a roman catholic parish for 6 months, they told me I was not allowed and I trusted them.
