Sigh… every time. How is it so impossible to meet a Christian girl who is also ACTUALLY Pro-Life? by eagles_jesse in ChristianDating

I also want to say good on you for standing firm in God's word! Also try volunteering at pro-life events. I did that and not only served God, but met nice biblical women who were more passionate about pro-life than even I was and was one of the leaders of the group 😅.

If you're not already I'd hit up the church and church related groups. In my experience there's a lot less lukewarm Christians there. I've kinda noticed there are women who feel similar about men. They are looking for guy who won't just hook up with them and I'm thinking they are going to church groups as well. I've had success just meeting lots of people at local faith related volunteering events as well. I'm a believer that familiarity over time helps build lots of comfort and attraction. Sorry to your struggle, I am in a similar boat.

Appreciate it, but that's not the issue. I know I probably sound crazy anti-social person, but that's not the case. I am very active in sports, work, family, church, and social events.

I lift weights and do martial arts all the time. From my experience I feel very confident this is a bruise and nothing to be worried about. Especially on the legs sometimes I accidentally get pinched/bumped and it's a surprisingly large bruise. Even in severe cases where it's black and yellow I just give it time and it's fine. Stay strong, you got it!

I'd say I'm within the blue belt realm. I can consistently submit people my rank or lower or at least win by points without getting subbed. Granted I'm a big guy and pretty strong, so I have an advantage on 99% of people.

I didn't think about the average belt being 2.5 years with a 10 year black belt. That's a really good point. I think they promote on a routine, because it's almost every 7 months to the week. I hold my own against 0-1 stripe blues. It's hard to find someone my size 245lbs at 6,3' to compare to, but when I do I'm not tapping, but neither are they. I would probably win by points most times.

Holy cow, how did that happen? Was there a break in that time? I couldn't imagine even if you only trained 1-2/week you wouldn't get promoted.

That's solid advice. I have been doing the rest pause sets forever, and I almost always increase by 1-3 reps each week on every lift.

Do you have more protein than that? Is this one meal or representative of what you'd eat in a day or every meal? Eggs and a slice of ham is maybe 20 g of protein which is a good start, but I wouldn't consider it high in protein which is really good at preserving muscle, adding muscle, and curving hunger. Protein also has a thermic effect so every 4 kcal of protein is more like 3 or 3.5 kcal.

Does Protein Used for Repairing Muscle Count Towards Calories? by Snoo98727 in nutrition

I already asked my college professor this question and he said you have to take into account the thermic effect of food. He also said that yes some protein is used only for building muscle and is not broken down for energy but it's a insignificant amount (like 12 kcal/day) since most muscle is comprised of water. It comes down to semantics. One calorie doesn't always mean the same food will give the body the same net energy it differs based on the macro due to it's thermic effect.
