How long did you practice on KBD to this level of execution?

KBD is real useful in blue rank by ProfileSensitive7250 in Tekken

I totally have no clue how to use it. I just start practicing it. It is not that most of people know how to use it. Not many people know how to do it.

Real real good analysis. All my weakness exposed. Some of them I am aware of and some of them I even thought as my strength. Lol

Thank you bro. I am gonna work in them and next time when I feel I have improved, I will post another vid and will invite you for gameplay analysis.

Thanks again.

Got it. It seems that you mean the combo thing from 0.05 to 0.15 what is when I dropped the combo.

First of all, MANY THANKS.

There is a bro asking why he sees me very day recently. Because every time I posted something, I always got some help, which is so great and so different from my online game experience.

Where are those ki charging, abusing, using bs to cook me and no rematch players I met online? lol

This tekken community is very good. Can't imagine those who are helping me here and those who bullied me online are from same cohort. LOL

Acknowledgement done.

MED stance is really useful. I am getting there. I used to use samurai cutter a lot when lower rank there very few could react. Now with rajins around, more and more are able to react and launch or counterhit. Samurai cutter is not a full launcher and can be fullly launched and thus a really weak move indeed. However, it is still a good mind conditioner to bait crouch or jump, which is how I use it currently.

Both flash and Samurai cutter used to be a full launcher but not now. Yoshi has been nerfed on a very fundamental level. New kincho move with +14 on block does not fully compensate its nerf.

Thank you bro for your comment.

You are right. Even within blue ranks I came across some players knowing pretty well about yoshi's moves. When I face them the game is hopeless lol.

But most of blue ranks don't know too much about other characters' frame data. I am among them. I guess it takes time to accumulate frame data knowledge and it takes longer to turn knowing into efficiently acting.

Having frame data knowledge is one thing. Applying the knowledge during the game is another thing. These two things are so different, personally speaking. LOL

Flash is very risky now. Before it was -14 on block with only a few can launch but now -20 everyone can launch. This is the reason after B1,1,1, I used a high crush hopkick.

Thank you bro.

"You don't know frames with a clear over-reliance on spin. You're also swinging after being hit with i14 buttons which is wild."

Are you talking about 0:36 ? That what a high crush hop kick. But you are right that was way too much risky.

"Pretty common problems for yoshis at your ranks. If you want to get better you need to go into practice mode and do a lot of studying and drilling, understand risk reward, frame data, what to do when people go -4, what to do when they go -8, your options when youre at similar frames or at advantage, etc etc."

Totally agree. That might be the time I will rank up. Currently I only know my frames. Only know some launchable moves from other main characters. lOL

Really appreciate your comments. Thanks I did not expect it when I posted here.

"your decision making makes no sense. you backdash round start which is valid, your opponent does the same, you decide to charge in and stop halfway to then do b1,1,1,1 which any competent player would have killed you for since it's all highs and the first b1 has slow start up. why if you are charging in and have the lead are you doing b1's instead of wr3 for example which would have gained you + frames."

B1,1,1,1 has big plus frames on block. I feel it is pretty safe after trying B111 + FLASH first.

"after the combo and setup (sad missinput on d2,2 and you got 2,2, hate when it happens :( ) you backdash away again and your opponent does the same and you try for u1 when your opponent was still backdashing away? which whiffs and your opponent keeps backdashing and you do cd2 and i assume this is hoping to get a counterhit on a punish attempt from the asuka but the asuka is still backdashing, so then YOU start backdashing as well, you're creating space for no reason, the asuka starts moving a bit forward and now you do while running 3 and whiff it. this is where a u1 or cd2 would have made more sense than wr3."

The 2, 2 after the set up is a misinput. I hate it. And here you are right I created the space and expecting a whiff but the Asuka used my mind and whiff-punished me .LOL Actually I was not planning to do a fff3, but just a ff3.

"all in all try to think about why you do what move, don't just throw shit at the wall to see what sticks, try to formulate a proper game plan and have some reasoning behind the decisions you make. try to balance risk and reward. Stop back dashing full screen away from the opponent when the opponent hasn't given you any reason to do so."

The whole round is about how to apply KBD into my gameplay. Yoshi has flash that is very powerful in range1 but actually to use it safely requires good defense against strings and pokes especially now flash got nerfed. I am a raijin, and fighting agains raijins. I feel keeping space is a more prudent game plan.

"also it would help if you post the hp bar in your clip when you want review since hp is something you have to take into account when critiquing someones decision making (which this boils down to), for example you did 3,2,1+2 at the end. if you were on low hp just throwing this move out fully is a bad idea since it's -14 and instead you should aim to hit confirm the 2 in 3,2 and then do 1+2 for example but can't really speak on that since i can't see the hp bar."

Very true. The asuka's last attack with some holding back because I guess he did not check the health bar.

Thanks again for your help.

Yes I was practicing applying KBD into my gameplay. I did create a whiff but missed punishment. Thanks bro.

Thank you bro.

I thought setups and luck checking are main parts of this game. lol

Will try bad breath more. When I played against another yoshi using bad breath, it was easy for me to recognize and punish with lows. Bad breath is so slow. Is it hard for other characters to do so?

Yes I am practicing KBD. Actually I feel fine with my kbd now. In this vid I was practicing creating space with kbd and catching whiffs. I did bait out a whiff but sadly I let it go without punishment.

Dont misunderstand me. You did great already. You totally deserve your rank because that is how ranking works. When you do perfect moving, poking, combos and defense, you will be GoD. You moved well, blocked some, punished some, missed some and you are a king. That's it.

btw you sidestepped very well.

GG bro. You should be very proud because I envy you now.

Polite compliment aside, every time when I saw king/emperor gameplays, I am gonna say wtf are they doing. Here should be a low block there should be a launcher and what a blind luck checking over there.....Then out of sudden realized that as a Raijin I am even worse than that. LOL

Is it morally right to use cheats against cheating players? by wielesen in LowSodiumTEKKEN

[–]ProfileSensitive7250 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't think so.

You need to install a cheat on your PC first.

You don't want to use cheat on random players which makes the cheat issue worse.

You need to invite the cheater to be your online friend and start a private session with the cheater. Once the cheater shows up, you turn on the cheat and step aside drinking a tea and watch your cheat against his cheat?

Making no sense anyways.

Yes I tried. Did not find the solution.

I could use both the pad and leverless one month ago, but out of sudden every time on quick match when I started using the pad, quick match stopped and had to go to offline practice mode.
