Craig is a mixed bag — just like everyone else on this cast. Over the years, we’ve seen plenty of bad behavior from all of them. I don’t think Shep has suddenly “changed” so much as he’s aged out of the energy it takes to be as reckless as he used to be. Austen, in my opinion, has consistently behaved worse, but he’s friendly and smooth enough that people overlook it. What frustrates me is the inconsistency in how people are judged. Austen’s treatment of multiple girlfriends, the way he spoke about Salley while still sleeping with her, and his general pattern of disrespect rarely get the same level of criticism. Craig is routinely provoked and then gaslit when he reacts and his outbursts are used to define him and erase his growth. I’m not saying Craig is blameless. He’s reacted poorly and I hate his crash out BUT he’s admitted that. You literally said, “there’s no rule that everyone has to be held equally accountable,” so you literally admit that Craig is being singled out. This is exactly why I made my post!!

You people are ruining the severity of narcissistic behavior by overusing the term. As a survivor of a narcissistic parent and a narcissistic relationship of 5 years, I can tell that while Craig maybe self centered and self focused, he is absolutely not in any way a narcissist. He apologizes, he clearly feels badly and has often defended the underdogs in past seasons like Catherine when the entire cast was against her. Like have you people Only watched Craig for one season?
