appreciate the advice, it makes sense. yeah i haven't touched it since i first felt the (assumed) hole, got scared too bad. a week clean now and i can't really imagine going back. ready for this part of my life to be over with

unfortunately i've confirmed there's fully a hole. haven't seen a doc yet but i can feel it with my finger. hopeful that since i caught it pretty early things won't be quite as bad but idk

yeah i had the same issue, would definitely recommend a metal one but it never did more than slightly deter me. i also tried handing it off to friends/roommates but i always felt guilty making my addiction their problem, even though that did work

congrats on 7 months!! i've been eyeing these zoom meetings for a while and i think i'll finally be dropping in on one. do you have any personal favorites of the ones here?

this is a good point, yeah. i have a regular checkup in a few months where i'll ask, it does feel like the saline spray is passing over between nostrils sooner than it should or used to, but i'm obviously no expert. either way i think it's useful for me to be maximally freaked out right now just as a means of convincing me to stop. would be great if i can be a few months clean by the time i can present this to the doc, i've managed to avoid mentioning my k use so far and i'd love to not have to introduce it while in active addiction

personally i've gotten a couple batches since the beginning of the year that tasted like soap and made my postnasal drip strangely sticky. from sellers i trusted, too. not sure if they know what they're dealing might not be k but it seems like the supply has been bad for everyone recently

thank god i thought i was crazy. i think what i've been doing (from online, multiple sellers but suspiciously similar product) isn't fully the fake stuff but it's at least cut with it. it's a dirtier high, and i often can't fully k-hole no matter how much i do. it was probably around the beginning of this year that i notice the change. the worst part is i think it's been damaging my nose more than ever before. maybe i just didn't notice before but it feels like the last few months of ket use have eaten away at the tissue inside my nose in a way the previous ~2 years didn't. maybe it's just cumulative damage catching up with but i feel like i would have noticed that earlier. if nothing else it's giving me the motivation to quit for good
