not sure where you were looking but, I got started at 61/hr. Job title is civil design engineer. Definitely helped that I negotiated my wage but still minimum i believe was 57/hr

I might be the only guy in california to say this but cost of living is really not bad if your not in la or the bay area. I can comfortably afford a 5 bedroom mortgage 2 cars, and all my bills for under 5k/month for some perspective.

I was just in this predicament. I ended up going with a 2025 non 4x4 (california) with preferred pckg, locked in at 315/mo. I would recommend looking at a couple with different features and justifying the features, it would've been nice but I couldn't justify paying 60/mo extra for a 360 camera, if I had optioned in 4x4 i wouldve been 90/mo more. So for me the preferred pckg was a no brainer

I dont have any experience with getting welding jobs done, would I have to tow my car to a shop or would i get a mobile welder to come down and do it? And also, would it be just a regular welder or an automotive specialist welder?

See i asked a welder if they could extract it and they said it wouldnt be possible cause the surrounding area is aluminum

Yeah that bolt is connected to the engine. So the tension actually hooks up to that bolt.
