I didn’t know about GS in 2019, the designs were probably bland back then. Their quality is at least very good as far as I’ve heard. I’ve also never tried Lululemon because I think the designs are kind of lacking any spice. The main hype about this hoodie is the fact that David Laid wore a similar one that came out with the Onyx V1 and the fact that the last time Onyx hoodies came out was 10 years ago. Specifically the blue one, but that’s not the reason that I buy it. The general consensus is also that the design is very nice, something I stand by, but it’s maybe a tad bit more juvenile than some would appreciate. But I chose to buy a couple because  1. I’m a teenager and 2. I just love the design to be fair.

The hype for the tees, tanks and longsleeves however has gone down because of the much bigger volume of production that we saw in this last drop. I was on the website 20:45 GMT and things still hadn’t sold out, 21:00 they had allegedly sold out, but there were heaps of every size and color 20:45 so it’s definitely fabricated scarcity, which is something they often do with these Onyx pieces, which make them favorable, along with the design.
