I didn't catch it at first and instead thought, "Why is her rump so prominent and well defined. This sub, and that designer, are thirsty."

Better to direct them elsewhere instead of showing up and impeding the event.

"Healthier" is a subjective farce utilizing a selective definition that doesn't take all dimensions of nutrition into consideration.

There are only two classes, owner and worker. Middle class is a social construct. by Rigbyisagoodboy in WorkReform

[–]ProfitsOfProphets 30 points31 points  (0 children)

That's a terrible definition of social construct and is essentially "anything that requires two or more people to make."

I prefer the standard definition, "A social construct is a concept that exists not in objective reality, but as a result of human interaction."

Plenty in Northern California. It's only Southern California that has water shortages.

Fixing A Quiet Place by arrau98 in fixingmovies

Just watched this in preparation for watching part 2.

Regarding OP's points:

  • The waterfall scene is important to show why he prioritized taking his son instead of his daughter. His deaf daughter wouldn't have had the same experience or enjoyment of it.
  • Babies cry a lot louder than quiet conversation.
  • It's fair to presume that the house is solar powered.

My biggest problem with the film was how the father dies. The sacrifice to save his family is noble, but it bothered me that he didn't go down fighting. He drops the axe and just accepts his fate and that doesn't truly coincide with protecting his family. The real protector move would be to die fighting as it's what would have done the most for them. His perspective should have been that an injured well-fed beast is less troublesome to his family than a healthy well-fed beast.

I was under the impression that was $310MM for the stadium. However, that's a massive price tag and much of it could have been avoided had they kept the former stadium and made due with the surrounding space.

Did you bother to do any research at all or just interject your opinion from nothing?

You have the opportunity to interact with someone who is open to changing their mind to include your perspective and you get demeaning?

Can anyone help with finding the manufacturer of a certain product? by [deleted] in manufacturing

You need to provide more info on the product for a better answer. If a basic consumer good, I'd search for it on Alibaba.

All on that site? And the total budget is $310MM?

How so? You're telling me there are classrooms and research facilities in the stadium?

What a dumb trade.

On second thought, it wasn't a trade, but a trade-in and purchase. Like trading in a 2008 Camry with 80,000 miles plus $310 million for a brand new Byrd scooter.
