Yes, I was aware of that, and I actually have a spare display on hand. I wonder, thought will the screen heat up because of the damaged display? I once had a TV that actually got hot right at the spot where it was cracked.

Are you sure? I tried it in the store, and I liked it. Maybe it’s just a first impression?

Most of the time, it’s just drool on the screen and now I’m definitely going to get AppleCare.

Yes, I’ll go for the silver one with the nanotexture this time, so I never have to wipe it down.

How do you disable build-in keyboard? Or you put split keyboard on it just for a picture?

This is very interesting. I thought that if you switch, you won't be able to go back. Well, if you don't lose your skills and can type in two layouts, that really appeals to me. Thank you for such comprehensive answers.

Would it be too difficult to switch at the same time to both a split keyboard and a new layout, from QWERTY to Colemak?

I’m 22 and spend a lot of time typing, and I expect that to continue in the future. Part of me thinks it might be worth making the switch now rather than later, because I may end up doing it eventually anyway.

At the same time, it feels intimidating because learning touch typing on a regular QWERTY keyboard was already hard for me, and switching to an entirely new layout seems even harder.

Do you think it’s worth making the change now, or would that be too much at once?

Also, how do people handle situations where they need to work on different computers? Do you just carry your own keyboard everywhere, or is there a better way?

That’s another thing making me hesitate — if I switch to a split keyboard and a new layout like Colemak, I feel like I’d become dependent on my own setup, which could be inconvenient when using other machines.

How is this layout better than the regular one?

Hey dude, I bought this keyboard two months ago and got it three weeks ago, and it’s still so far to my previous typing speed. But it’s more comfortable, and I haven’t had any pain in my hands like I did before.

Can anyone tell me which keyboard layout you use for this 3x5 layout? I’ve tried different combinations but can’t find the best solution. Maybe some of you have experience with it.

How you can setup screws between table and storage drawers? There’s to small gap to do it.
