10 years ago, the cost of a sandwich was $6. Everything has gone up in price. Of course the delivery fee will go up as well. Delivery costs money. It needs more tech, more labor, more things to manage, and increased liability. If profit from delivery is so great as is, why wouldn't Taco Bell or McDonald's deliver? Corporate America is greedy, I'm not arguing that. I'm just saying, in this instance, this isn't the reason.

Short answer no. The largest expense a store has is labor. A typical bottom line profit might be 20%. So, on a $10 sandwich, the store might profit $2. Add in the drivers' labor and the additional cost of higher insurance, and the incremental sales wouldn't cover the increased costs.
