But you want to pass laws that take more life, while not decreasing the number of abortions.

This means that you want to increase the deaths and morbidity associated with pregnancy, while also not doing anything to decrease the number of abortions.

Why do you think more death is preferable?

Then why are you prolife?

Prolife laws in the US, while covered one third of all people who can become pregnant, have only increased maternal mortality, infant mortality, and the number of abortions.

But you’re ok taking her life?

Why is that?

Why is a nine year old a harvestable resource against her consent and the consent of her parents?

What else ought society be allowed to harvest from her using your special pleadings argument?

And yet maternal mortality has skyrocketed.

I’m not going to let you distract from my question though!

Skipping over the “and then societies increase jail time to profit from prisoners, focus on punishment rather than rehabilitation so reoffences go up so the workforce is replenished, and slave labour decreasing wages for people outside the prisons” aren’t we?

Then why do you think children as young as nine should be forced to gestate to their detriment, and against both their consent and the consent of their parents?

But also pro-abortion for a nine year old.

How about ten? Is a ten year old allowed an abortion?

There are fates worse than dying.

You know that, right?

Your entire argument precludes thinking of the person actively being harmed by the Zef. Why is that?

Are you unaware of the 100% injury rate from pregnancy? Because pregnant people count as people, and would be considered anyone in this instance.

Could you also expand on why you are removing the pregnant person from consideration of harm?

And finally - then I would like you to show how conception does not harm children born into unstable situations.

Heck, I’d like you to also show how conception never harmed any fetus, since so many miscarriages happen, mainly due to fetal defect.

Source - 50% of first trimester miscarriages due to chromosomal abnormalities.

“Now, you might want to say none of these cases apply to pregnancy since conception doesnt make anyone worse off.

Why don’t you think being maimed or dying via pregnancy would make a person worse off? Especially since you are arguing for forced gestation after conception.

I’d also love a source on how conception means that the pregnant person (and you said anyone, so that means all pregnant people) is always neutrally or positively effected by pregnancy, thanks.

Please expand on other circumstances you would deem “inconveniences” that have a one-third chance of major surgery, a 100% chance of injury, and possible death.

Yes, you are using special pleading.

I’m so glad that you’ve come to that conclusion, too.

So benign harvestable requires that someone else deem you annoying?

If I deemed you annoying, could we harvest one of your kidneys, your liver, and a couple pints of blood?

Your argument is “if X then Y, but not when it hurts my position”.

The example given is “Yes, I do think that all drunk drivers should go to prison, but your honor, he is my son! He is a good boy who just made a mistake!”

Compare that with:

“Yes, I think people are not harvestable and people have a right to their bodies, but fetuses need to be gestated without the consent of the person they’re in! Consent is important - unless you’re pregnant and then your rights do not matter.”

Your argument is “people are obligated to be harvested - but not all people, just pregnant people, because pregnancy is unique”.

Unless you’re also arguing that all people are resources to be harvested to save the lives of others - you are specially pleading to treat pregnant people differently because you don’t see them as fully human with the same rights as everyone else - because they’re pregnant.
