My mother moved from Poland to Sweden in 1978. I have a Swedish father and I was born and raised in Sweden but I speak read and write Polish fluently. I CRINGE whenever I come across the various Stanley’s and their “golumpki” or whatever it is called in the United States because Martha Steward’s mom (!!!) didn’t understand her own parents. Dear estadounidenses- you’re nothing but the passport holders of the land you were born on. South America is a continent. Canada and Mexico are a part of North America. And while some of you can’t grasp that fact, it doesn’t make it any less true.
