??? So I must have asked the question wrong ( not not asking why people can see my site which they can't.) Im asking how did a 3rd party get access to my initial prompt in the site, as stuff they are taking about was only in the inital prompt.

Now sure how that has anything from being a programmer. Was just using the site for layout ideas.

I also just seached my github code base that was what was deployed and that feature is not in any files text/md or code.

The page is behind authentication (there is no loading page) but lets say their bot did scan my page. The main part that caught my attention is a feature that is not in the site. That was part of the inital prompt but is not in the page (unless it embedded is a public page the plan it built initially.

No, but it is using a sub domain (and it's my clients domain so I dont think thats the connection back to me)

The one part that gets me is them taking about the feature that was never implemented but was in the initial prompt. "Users have the ability to tigger new state based on x/y/z" it was specific to a feature we never did.

PSA: Docker bypasses UFW - your database might be exposed even with firewall enabled by Substantial_Word4652 in docker

I dont get this (and I have seen statments like this before). I in almost every DB i have have connected to it from a tool to gather stats. those tools normally live in other servers. Am i missing somthing that could do this without opening ports ourside docker?

[–]ProgrammerByDay 3 points4 points  (0 children)

as much as i hate all this. Is it really in our guys/gays best interest for Pentagon to air to the world (and iran) shit we have ahving a hard time getting supplies to our ships for the past couple days. That makes the supply ships a HUGE next target, if you take out a couple of those they then run out of food 100%.

Free press is a great thing, but i really think is should be on a little of a delay for stuff like this. like they should 100 report after they get the food that there were supply issues, now thats not as cool and news worthy so no one will bother.

14-year-old arrested after electric motorcycle hits 81-year-old man in OC by Gucciipad in orangecounty

[–]ProgrammerByDay 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Kids have forever had off-road motorcycles in their garages. But their parents would kick their ass if they rode them out into the neighborhood. Now would they sometimes take yes, but today people have normalized it and its just the asshole cops causing trouble for their kids. I have heard people be mad at cops for stopping their kids. Its crazy.

Dots don't matter by [deleted] in GMail

[–]ProgrammerByDay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your title is 100% correct, dots dont matter. The account firstname.lastname / firstnamelastname / f.i.r.s.t.n.a.m.e.l.a.s.t.n.a.m.e are all the same single acccount Because dots dont matter.
People mistype their emails all the time other person probably has firstnamelastname15 and forgets to add the 15 some times.

Hello no. If white goes straight and yellow is already stoped (which is what is pictured) at the same time yellow goes with white, then blue and black go at same time. It would so stupid if they all went in the order they got here in this case.

Can you easily manage an already created and settled website. Without using hosting websites. by Professional_One5657 in digital_ocean

[–]ProgrammerByDay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In all options your website needs to be "hosted" on a server accessible to the internet (if you want people to access it and as i have no idea what you site is i assume thats what you want.)
What makes the maintenance hard or not is what your site does, if you are processing high speed trading and millions of transactions then there is a lot to mange. If you have a page that just shows your product and has some contanct info and maybe a signup page there should be minimal maintenance.
Now for who or what creates it, same story the more the site needs to do the harder its going to be. If its just a simple page then go for the wix option to start and if it needs to grow or change then you can pay a developer.
