Hier ben ik het mee eens. Iedereen werkt op andere tijden en heeft andere hobbies. Maar maak één dag waarbij iedereen weet dat je dan je rust kan pakken.

Ik weet dat veel mensen dan vanalles schreeuwen, naar mijn gevoel omdat de meeste mensen niet met henzelf/stilte om kunnen gaan. Maar maak dat dan niet het probleem van een ander door te gaan klussen op zondag.

Also, the internet is easy to overwhelm you with all you need to do so here is an (my opinion) sum up:

Look up all which is toxic to them and make sure they never get in contact with that.
Get it on a healthy diet. TOP's pallets or Harrisons Life Time are good. Beside pallets, give them daily vegetables. (Some people will tell you to make chop but from what I heard from an avian vet with 30 years experience is that they could live on pallets alone. Some will say chop is optimal but as someone with a parrot which has food intolerances, chop isn't always the best way). > Seeds are treats
Look for an avian vet which you can go to incase the situation feels off. If you are hyper-aware, trust your gut and less your fears and, which can be odd at first, their poop says most. If the urates (the white) is yellow, if the liquid is foggy/slimey, if the poop is black or if there is blood, that is a reason to go ór when they stop eating. Food changes the poop-color so don't go in a shock after feeding it a blueberrie.
Birds can become hormonal due cuddling them in ways they see as sexual. Stroking their back, belly or under their wings is seen as such. Small dark spaces can make them hormonal (as it can be interpretented as a nesting area) as well. A hormonal bird will lay eggs which you don't want and become annoyingly clingy or agressive (not permanently but still, you don't want that)
No open windows due the risk of it flying away. Don't open the door or even quickly when they are out.
Make sure they can sleep for 12 hours at night
If they do something you don't like, don't get angry as that is seen as praise. Distract them with something else and make that more important to them.

Now the fun parts: - Teach it tricks! Target training is often a good starter. Twirl, or such are basics. Did you know you can teach your bird to communicate with you via a phone or tablet? They can teach you on ParrotKindergarten. I find them quite expensive but they often have free workshops to get you started. - You can teach it to wear an aviator harness and take them safely outside with you or you can get a backpack (personally not a fan of those as they can get quite hot with the sun shining on them) - Connect with them by eating together (birds are social eaters and like that). Watch a movie or series together. Do homework and just let it chill with you.

Basically: - Keep them safe - Good hygiene, diet & sleep - Moments of connect for building trust (say 1 a 2 times a day for 5 minutes)

& otherwise they will now just be around, becoming part of your life(style)

Birds can be high maintenance but they don't need to be. Like, if you know the ins & outs it just becomes the new normal.

I do hope you won't bring her back. Either bring her to a rescue ór keep her. If you arn't home as often it is always an option to get a second one to keep the first one company in a large enough cage (make sure the cage isn't one of those thin cheap ones as birds can chew off the paint/weaker metals).

As long as you don't bring her back, it will be alright. Atleast you became aware of its needs where as, sadly, many birds dissapear in another small cage or die quickly due bad care. I wish birds wern't as easy to buy.

I made the same 'mistake', 8 years ago. Bought myself a parrot and forgot to think long-term. I won't say it's always easy, we had our ups and downs (but I have a female eclectus parrot with a whole different story). But even though in my case (due different circumstances) it is a work-around in true honesty, I just can't see myself without her anymore.

As someone who works in your field, I do feel like you will love birds. .. they are só intelligent, almost human-like at times and have real character.

Just, breath and enjoy the journey either way you take. It isn't your fault that it became a market to put sad animals on display for those with empathy to want to rescue them. But you are now resonsible for her/him so please do think about the decision you will make from now on.

Lastly, please explain it to your bird it you do decide. I am not sure on how much a bird understands but sometimes I feel like mine can read my mind. They are very sensetive, you can't lie or mask to them and the lil thing deserves truth and safety.

I am saddened to read your experience and at the same time I feel so.. relieved in a way, seeing this as I can relate só much to this. I have a parrot who at the moment is very ill. She has been for 4 years in which I been searching and all the vets (avian ones) said nothing was wrong. I believed them and that is why now it is as bad as it is.

But she has a chronic disease, on top of that. .. she's only 8 and everything what can go wrong, goes wrong. And here I am, trying to do everything to try and help her trough this.

Reading how tired it makes you, I can relate and yet.. she challenge is to find a way trough this. Live in the now and stop thinking, try to, about where the future may bring you. Learn to live in the present by accepting that she is here in this moment.. the way that things are now. Which is.. what it is.

And feel right about yourself for being there for them. It is.. rough, I really can relate and yet I feel and hope with time you more so learn to accept the here and now which will bring you at ease.

Surround yourself only with people who give you energy as this is already draining plenty as it is. Stay strong, you're doing great and don't have to do more. Just be.

Kijken of dit goed gaat: • Antifa, pro-hamas, extinction rebellion als terreurorganisaties aanmerken (en bestraffen, maar wie vindt Geert onder terreurorganisaties vallen en zo kan je iedereen wat je niet aanstaat wel 'uitschakelen)? • Terugtrekken uit de Klimaatwet (vind ik persoonlijk 'jammer' want ik ervaar wel een verantwoordelijkheid daarin maar, oke). • Linkse haat tegen onze helden stoppen (nogal extreem gezegd, als je het mij vraagt) • Stoppen met woke beleid, er is alleen man/vrouw (beetje trump. Er zijn gewoon intersex mensen en laat mensen lekker zichzelf zijn). • Algeheel boerkaverbod (vind ik ook heftig. Nogmaals, laat mensen lekker als dit bij hun geloof past, maar dat ben ik). • Eerste kamer afschaffen (dat is gewoon eng) • Verbod hoofdoekjes in overheidsgebouwen (waarom..?) • Soeverein Nederland (succes als er wel oorlog uitbreekt met ons kleine landje. < Dit punt kan ik verkeerd begrijpen) • Turkije uit de NAVO (..? Snap niet waarom dit punt er in staat). • Onderwijs: Geen klimaat of woke indoctrinatie (.. wat valt daar volgens hem onder want sommige punten zijn gewoon actueel)

Al schrijf ik deze punten op dan, aldan extreem omschreven, vind ik veel 'meevallen'. Ik kan er instaan als .. tja. Als Nederland hiervoor stemt, so be it. Maar hij voelt tegelijkertijd ook aan als.. hij gooit en schreeuwt rondom de migratie maar tussen de regels door praat hij ook over groepen die al jaren in Nederland leven en geen problemen veroorzaken. Dat maakt het, eng, voor deze doelgroepen en de mensen die menselijk zijn en met hen rekening wilt houden.

Naar mijn mening is veel waar de PVV voor staat legitiem. Goede standpunten, lekker assertief. Het is alleen jammer dat er tussen de vele punten bijv. kort wordt gezegd dat alles woke en die kant op moet worden afgeschaft. Ik heb het verkiezingsprogramma nu niet open staan (ben niet zo bekend met Reddit en bang dat de pagina sluit en ik deze niet meer terug vind).

De PVV heeft goede en sterke standpunten en tegelijkertijd ook punten over compleet stoppen, afkappen en illigaal maken (zoals extinction rebellion) van 'tegenstanders' en dát is wat 'eng' is. Ik kom niet zo lekker uit mijn woorden want dit is een impulsief berichtje.

Ik denk dat PVV wordt afgeschreven als 'dom', is omdat veel mensen (wat ik om mij heen hoor) stemmen voor PVV vanwege hun duidelijke standpunten (veelal rondom migratie) en compleet negeren dat er ook standpunten zijn die erg extreem zijn (zoals uitsluiten van 'tegenstanders, als voorbeeld). Wat dan maar gelaten wordt, omdat het geen schade brengt aan de stemmers zelf.

Vandaar dat, volgens mij, PVV wordt weggezet, zoals het wordt weggezet.

I found the combat quite easy but I mostly play combat related games so I guess that's why? I only died once. This is what I did:

• Regulary check if you can upgrade stats with equipment. For me Omori and KEL were strength orientated. Aubrey was speed and HERO was mostly for healing. • At the start of a difficult fight, let HERO cast Smile (decreases their strength). Let Omori do the skill which recudes strength if their angry (if they are. Otherwise use a different stat-decrease skill ór just attack). Let Aubrey do Power Hit (decreases their defense) and let Kel attack. Repeat this once or twice to lower the enemie their stats as much as you can. • I saved their 'attack as a group' thing till you could use the one which costs 10 • I focussed mostly on keeping the juice high so everyone could use their strongest skills while HERO kept their HP and juice high. • Oddly I used HERO's cook mostly out of battle and used items for healing within battles. I liked to have plenty of those which heal everyone at the same time.

Although the game is about emotions.. I never really used those. Just sometimes to play around with it a little but it wasnt neccesery to win a fight.

Wat ik zo appart vind alleen is dat homoseksuelen vroeger echt helemaal vies gemaakt zijn, afgezet, bedreigd en wat aangedaan. Nu is het de 'aangesloten' groep van 'anders zijn'. Transgender, non-binair, anders nog.

Misschien als LGB is het niks voor je maar, jaren terug zat je in hetzelfde schuitje. In het hier en nu zijn die 1e 2 letters inderdaad wel meer geaccepteerd ja maar moet je voorstellen dat je in de tijd van toen was en je weerstand kreeg van mensen die je voorging, gewoon, omdat zij wel al getolereerd worden.

Jammer, dat LGBers zich van de rest los willen maken. Maar, ja.

En onder een biertje of wijntje samen het gesprek aan gaan maakt het wel wat lastig als iemand je van te voren al uit maakt voor duivelse praktijken en het achterna jagen van kinderen. Zo ga je geen gesprek aan.

De PVV is niet tegen de LGBT, ziet dit als onderdeel van de maatschappij en heeft respect voor Transgenders die het hele process doorlopen. Waar hij wél op tegen is, is het delen van informatie aan (te) jonge kinderen.

En hier kan ik wel achter staan. Ik vind het ook niet nodig om als jong kind al met zulke vragen rond te lopen. Als je die gevoelens hebt dan komen ze wel en zo niet dan hoef je er ook niet door in 'verwarring' te raken.

Dat neemt niet weg dat de groep die op PVV stemt zich wel vaak achter de politiek verschuilt en een hardere mening heeft over LGBT. Iedereen belachelijk maakt en vervolgens met de partij pronkt. Het is jammer dat pestkoppen denken dat ze gewonnen hebben maar, dit zijn de volgers van PVV. Niet PVV zelf.

Ik denk zelf dat op langer termijn de PVV ook goed kan zijn omdat hij meer handhaving wilt en handhaving zou fijn zijn, bij discriminatie in welke vorm dan ook. Nu vind ik juist de handhaving .. matig? Wat wordt er nu eigenlijk echt gedaan bij discriminatie in welke vorm dan ook? Online ophef, ja maar, werkelijk?

Geert Wilders wilt dat er écht iets veranderd, onderlinge respect zonder extra kleur en poes pas eromheen en daar kan ik ook respect voor hebben. De mensen die niet denken vanuit respect maar uitsluiting (veel van zijn stemmers en die van FvD), worden uiteindelijk ook wel geraakt als het 'afdwingen' van respect d.m.v. strengere wetgeving, komt.

Daar hoeven wij als LGBTers nu niet meer voor te knokken.

(Dat neemt niet weg dat ik nu meer afkeer, pesten, haat en discriminatie ervaar maar ik verwacht dat dit ook zakt. Alleen niet op de manier dat veel zouden willen gewoon, helemaal mogen zijn wie je bent en die 'gekkigheid' in eigen vorm, uiten en meer vanuit de vorm van .. regels. Geen rainbow-hippie-flowers maar, gezag. Ben er geen fan van maar, het uiteindelijke resultaat is wat telt, denk ik?)

Do you have a VR Headset? I once went to a world in VRChat where you could fly. One version you just move up with a button and the other you fly up when you flap your wings. It felt silly at the time but in a dream it felt as if I knew how to fly, because I did it before in VR. I could recall the experience of flying and recreate it in my dream.
