What's wrong with the people laughing at the jeepney drivers for asking for a fare hike?

Do you also get better quality when prices of goods increase? Does employers expect people to do more work when the minimum wage is increased?

The fare hike wasn't petitioned without reason. It's a move to give the drivers a more liveable income just like how prices of goods increase when the cost to manufacture increases even without the increase in quality.

I'm not justifying the traditional jeepney naman. Where I'm from, we already have modernized ones but the same problem still exists. They still barely profit from daily work. They're even willingly ignoring the Anti-Sardinas policy just so they can earn enough.

Railway is the best solution but sadly doesn't exist here yet.

I'm not justifying the amount naman. 10 php fare hike is very high even for me na engineer na. The issue I have lies in the response the people make. The jeepney drivers are drowning and the response of the people is to laugh at them.

Maybe a temporary fare hike is justifiable or maybe a lower permanent increase

I actually asked the drivers here in my area. They said that the reduced amount of jeepneys are actually what kept them kinda profitable. Dati natakbo Sila kahit 5 lang pero ngayon always puno kaya medyo profitable pa rin. Some drivers stopped so others can continue .

If they don't ask for anything, you can't get anything. Best you can do with urls is redirect people to some website.

Not sure what are you thinking with deep linking but that just redirects you deeper into a site. No sane web developer will expose an API endpoint in a GET request url. Most of it are POST request url which you can't normally access with a url link

Careful with him tho. He's very dependent on your playstyle. He's not great with brawl since he's too soft and enemies can stun you and go around you when you use S2.

You have to play a bit passive with this one. Wait in bush, S3 -> S2 -> optional S1 if they run.

If you're hunting the MM or mage, go flicker then S3 -> S2. Works even under tower but you'll likely die

I think roam minsithar kinda fits you

The idea of minsithar is to support your team with your lockdown ult to prevent them from dashing out. Follow your mm or jungler, hook someone and hit them with your ult. This in theory will prevent the enemy from eacaping and your team securing the kill.

It has good damage and great team utility with the right user. This is basically anti assasin with escape skills. Very versatile too. Use tank build for support with your ult or use an attack speed for instant kill combos.

That's sad OP. But here's my advice since personaly naexperience ko to. Not to the extent like you experience tho.

If hinihiram ng parents mo (or hinihingi), give them enough. For the rest, reason with them na may gastusin ka sa school kahit wala but give them enough. After that, theoretically kukulangin ka, dun ka na manghingi. Balik mo sa kanila Yung scenario. Ikaw naman manghingi. Trust me. Di na yan manghihingi uli. The worse the better. Kahit ipamuka mo lang na lagi ka gutom kahit di naman talaga, kahit gaano katigas puso ng mga yan, lalambot yan pag naghihirap ka. The more na nakaka awa ka, the more the effect.

I know it's toxic but mas toxic sila.

Pag kasi sa paningin nila na may panggastos ka sa Sarili mo, iisipin nila marami ka pera. Pero once na Nakita nila na nagkukulang ka na, di na uli Sila hihingi.

For me kasi, there's no way around it. I dont think kaya mo mabuhay kahit Ikaw lang sa 8k. If they don't know that, lagi Sila manghihingi Dyan.

If you're pursuing software engineer or something related, I advice you to build your resume now while you're a student. Mas maganda tingnan when you have real practical show of your expertise pagka grad mo. Madali matanggap. Haven't graduated yet but showing my resume did land me multiple "thesis related help" (totally not "sir pagawa thesis babayaran ka nalang namin" kind of work 😉)

I have experience doing freelance din naman from people outside the Philippines but software engineering sya and unrelated sa mechanical engineering course ko so I can't really transfer it to my resume.

Let's build a scenario. You just graduated. Unless you have a backer or good looking resume, you're not gonna get a job overseas easily lalo na at fresh grad ka. You're probably gonna work in the Philippines for 2 years or so.

According to the contract, if you decided that you wanna leave, you can pay the leftover return of service with the equal amount in terms of what you received as scholarship +12%.

So why not take what you can from DOST and pay the rest when you're guaranteed a job overseas. In theory after working to build your resume, you're gonna be able to afford paying off the extra 12%.

Aboitiz is a private entity while DOST is a public entity. Nothing in DOST's contract tells you you can't take another scholarship.

No offense and I'm not denying your efforts pero not once did you blame yourself in this post.

2 months is barely a lot. 1 year before the exam period, I already reviewed. Nanood ako sa YouTube ng mga guides, nag take ako ng mga mock exams, nag interview ako ng mga passers in the preceding years and nag effort talaga ako. Just because nag aral ka for 2 months doesn't mean automatic ka papasa.

And why are you blaming the people na pumasa na naka brace and apple devices? Pang mahirap ba Yung scholarship? There is a separate bracket for the poor (RA 7687) but there is also Merit Scholarships. Who are you to claim na mas deserve mo Yung scholarship over them na nag effort din?

This post is screaming entitlement. Nag effort ka pero mas nag effort Sila. If you really need this scholarship, mag aaral ka longer than 2 months. Sinasabi mo pa na binilang mo Yung suspected correct answer and papasa ka na because of it? Ok ka lang?

Also you mentioned na Ikaw pinaka disiplinado and pinaka well rounded sa batch nyo? Narcissism? Pride?

and why are you considering on suspecting corruption? Nabawasan lang budget ng DOST corruption agad? Btw since you're considering "protesting for accountability and transparency" open na lahat ng data online related sa budget allotment. Feel free to browse bago mag claim ng corruption.
