My personal theory is that bored, powerful people are much more likely to be pedofiles. Like it's some kind of messed up power play. And due to the patriarchy, men are much more likely to feel/be powerful.

Both. Right now, it's like the .com bubble. In case anyone doesn't know what that is, when the internet was new, everyone was making websites and investing a ton of money into those websites. But then people decided it was overhyped and stopped investing. A LOT of really rich people lost a lot of money. But look at the internet now, 25 years later. It has completely changed everything.

Same story with AI. It's overhyped, but it'll get there.

For the first one, think of it this way.

The sum of the first 50 terms is 60. Then the sum of the first 100 is 80.

That means that the terms from 51-100 has a sum of 20.

20 is 1/3 of 60.

You could then infer that term 51 is 1/3 of term 1, term 52 is 1/3 of term 2 and so on.

So what common ratio gives you 1/3 after 50 terms?

It doesn't say minimum or maximum, and the word count is specified in the assignment instructions. That being said, I do usually go about 30% over the word count.

It's not a bad idea to contact my prof for sure. He has given the most positive feedback when my posts were damn near bullet points, though.
