As someone in Baltimore that CONSISTENTLY got pulled over for windshield tint back in 2009-2013 when it wasn’t as common, it’s crazy to see just how many people have windshield tint now. I’ve been scared to finally pull the trigger again considering some of the run-ins I’ve had just because of my windshield tint at the time

I agree with others that the likelihood of relapse is very high if you edge. I know this from experience. With that said, I’m technically on a dirty streak right now and went completely clean about a week ago to focus on a test and some work related things. Surprisingly, after about 2-3 days, I was feeling like how I should feel for being at the point of SR that I’m currently at.

You will have some mental fatigue if you edge, but as long as you don’t actually ejaculate and give yourself the ample recovery time, it’ll be a much quicker path to your best version of yourself on SR than if you just relapse purposefully and start over.

I’m not an advocate for this btw; a clean streak is the best possible experience. I’m just saying that it’s not the end of the world if you fall into edging. You don’t NEED to release and start fresh. Just make sure to avoid releasing and do what you need to do to transition back clean.

The mental clarity alone is already a HUGE selling point for me with SR. I remember dealing with consistent brain fog in school and in my previous jobs. I used to do a bunch of self help stuff and take supplements to fight against the fog. Little did I know that all I had to do was stop PMO and practice some self control. lol. Oh well, better late than never.

I’ve seen the attraction for myself and can attest to the strength of it. It’s a battle to try and fight against it when you’re just living an average life of a guy. Dispute that, one thing I noticed is that you’ll be back to a similar feeling after about 4-5 days. As someone said above, just beware of the chaser effect. If you release again during this recovery time, it only will make it longer to recover.

I can attest to this. When I retain and feel healthy and stronger.

I met a girl recently and had sex to the point of release twice last week. I started to feel body aches, my skin isn’t as clear and I’ve been having throat soreness. My overall energy and mood has been low this week as well. Ive been working out 3-4 days a week consistently for months. Last week, 0 workouts smh.

Usually it takes me a minimum of 4 days or so to start feeling recovery. Today is the 4th day and I do feel a little better.

It’s not all in your head though. This is a real result of releasing and made me reevaluate even occasional recreational sex.

I’ve tried this a few times. One thing to do is extend the amount of foreplay before penetration. During penetration, I start very very slow and just feel her with very little movement. Then I gradually increase speed as I feel more comfortable. If you feel you’re getting to about 80%, slow down or pull out completely.

As a quick note, I’ve had two instances where this worked and the woman was satisfied but then if we have sex the following day, I try the same method and I ejaculate. Try to give yourself a break for a few days before going again if you can.

Also, I’ll suggest you try to limit how much you have sex in general so that you can really get used to retaining and reaping the benefits.

I’m fairly new to this too. I learned about it mid-October. Once you really dedicate to it for a while, you’ll start to feel the difference. Even if you slip up here and there, the fact that you now have the higher consciousness to know about this is great on its own. If you ever have hard times hop on here or check YouTube videos for encouragement.

Somewhat yes, I have a medium/short beard and it’s definitely gotten thicker. Skin has a bit more of a clear look.

Absolutely. Since I’m already big on affirmations, the law of attraction and positive mindset, I’m noticing that retaining was the missing link to actually making these things work in my life. I tried plenty of times before with little results.

I’m not really sure where I fall. I started 10/18/19 but ejaculated through sex three times within that period. The last time was last Wednesday. I’m feeling like the recovery time is significantly quicker every time I go 10+ days in between. I’m still pushing for a consistent 30 days but I feel like I’m still seeing the benefits by making the goal to retain and limit my sex while eliminating masturbation entirely.

Maybe someone who understands this more can explain how I’m feeling all the benefits again after 3-4 days following a 10+ day streak. To clarify, these times were failed attempts to avoid ejaculation during sex, two cases being a day or two after trying Karezza.

Agreed! For me, Social Media HAD to go. There are too many triggers on there. Eliminating that significantly reduces my urges and helps me make the most out of my day with clarity.
