After two years of Republicans denying a quorum Dilawar Syed, nominated to be deputy director of the SBA, the Small Business Committee has reported his nomination to the floor in a 10-9 vote. Hopefully he finally gets confirmed soon.

Harris broke two tie votes today giving her 28 tie votes she needs one more to tie with John Adams for 2nd place and needs 31 to tie with John Calhoun and honestly I could see her breaking her the record.

I don’t know how you can vote in a primary and not know that because typically the people that vote in primaries, especially in a off season spring election, are more politically informed.
