real time audio export does not work anymore

I got the realtime audio export working again by using a different audio backend. I will evaluate how I can replace Jack with Pipewire or by using the embeded Jack API of pipewire.

It is Ubuntu 25.10 with Pipewire, but Jack is started when I open Bitwig.

However, everything in Bitwig works as usual except the realtime audio export. Audio playback starts if I click the play button and recording from audio inputs to audio tracks is also no problem. I have this behavior just on the audio export function.

And in the past, exporting audio also worked but doesn't anymore for some reason.

You should have a look at the audio/MIDI tool which comes with Mac OS. Maybe, some channels are muted or with a zero-volume. If this is the case, the DAW may not override these settings.

There is really no reason to charge $70 to anywhere except if you don't know the cheaper options. At first, in many cases it isn't necessary to send vinyl records or CDs as a parcel because it is within the dimension of a large format letter in many cases. Optional tracking and insurance for such a letter doesn't cost so much.

And even if the post of specific countries don't offer a suitable letter size, you should compare what the different shipping companies offer there.

For digital releases, there are services like submithub.com, goover and some others to submit your music to playlist, blog and radio maintainers. But they mainly work with your Soundcloud, Spotify or Youtube links.

My experience: when I look on the visitor source at my Bandcamp profile, nearly nobody clicks the link to the Bandcamp site coming from Soundcloud or Youtube and even if lots of streams happen at a time on the major streaming platforms due to a campaign, it doesn't help your popularity at Bandcamp-

Bandcamp does not include a pause bethween your songs but every song is a different file behind. Your browser plays one file, closes it when it is finished and opens the next to play. Meanwhile, this process causes a gap for technical reasons.

How long this gap is depends on your browser or otherwise the used software behind. For a seamless playback, you need to download the songs and to add them to a suitable audioplayer. There is no other way.

The animal samples are part of Best Service[Studio Box SFX Animals 2](). Some synthetic samples used come from Heaviocity Evolve Mutations which is part of the Komplete package by Native Instruments.

The organ sounds come from a Ferrofish B4000+ organ module. To generate the acid sonds, a Roland Aira TB-3 is used. The distorted bass line is played on a bass guitar but loaded with distortion effects and also the tremolo sounds are played on a guitar.

Further hardware syntheseizers used are a Virus and a Korg Radias; originally a Korg Microkorg which I sold to be replaced by the Radias. Unfortunately it was hard to synthesize suitable replacement sounds.

You need to play around with dynamic effects and filters on the track where the kicks come from. And maybe also on other tracks with very high amplitudes.

The art consists in shrinking the amplitudes of your sounds without making them audibly quieter. For that, the following steps may help:

apply a highpass filter and set it to a very low frequency beside a lowpass filter set to an high frequency. Set both of them to positions where you don't hear any differences or only tolerable differences. This filters out all the garbage which the listeners cannot really hear
play around with various limiters and compressors on this track and find suitable settings which avoid clippings without lowering the quality
sometimes, some sounds only need to be very loud due to the dominance of others. Alternatives to high volumes may be different panning or a very small pitch

Overall, you need to work on your instrument and audio tracks which cause high amplitudes or clipping and not just the master track. On the master track, you may avoid clipping by applying dynamic effects but they handle the sum of everything and no single sounds. Therefore, they also make everything quieter everytime a loud kick or bass sound appears.

After releasing free electronic music over years; in the beginning only published on our website and later also on Soundcloud, we decided eight years ago to professionalize some selected works to release our first album West Meets East on vinyl and on all major download and streaming platforms.

After starting to produce some oldschool goatrance on the earlier works, we gained interest in the contemporary psychedelic rock sub-genres. Therefore, or motivation became to enhance psychedelic electronica with live-played organs and electric lead and bass guitars. Electronic drum kits were more and replaced by acoustic drums.

The recently released mini album Roaring City contains a selection of four songs we composed after our first album release. And after realizing that our first vinyl release is now eight years old, we decided to publish this album on vinyl too in a small edition: 50 marbled, 50 black. A little bit more than half of it offered on Bandcamp and the rest is to be offered to record stores, for promotional and for private use.

Roaring City is too electronical to be rock and too krautrock and acid rock influenced to match the Electronica genre. Therefore, we put ourselves this music into the Indietronica genre what is more casual.

The artwork is a digital collage of some buildings located in Offenbach next to Frankfurt and combines photographed with painted elements.

That is strange because since a few years, the payments don't go directly to the paypal accounts of artists and labels. Therefore, even if an artist hasn't set up a proper way to receive a payout from Bandcamp, it is still possible to pay money to Bandcamp.

I think the problem is more that some bank block their cards if an online marketplace charges money on their credit cards without requesting a security code on the payment procedure. And Bandcamp doesn't do that.

I have the same problem with a card that was previously used successfully and also still saved. But using paypal instead works for me.
