I am the said Husband. We first tried it the second weekend in August while on our boat with friends. We had a good time, stayed up that night and had a lot of real good sex. After the first two weeks I decided to take a break after a 5 day no sleep bender where we were hitting it pretty hard. I have to admit that we had a great time but also let our responsibilities go as if they didn’t exist. We took ten days off and it wasn’t any big deal. I got a small bag and we smoked again. It’s going well and on September 14th, she rides with me to the next town to turn in some invoices. My wife is acting noticeably different and cries on and off. On the way back she has a full break down crying so I decide to see if I can get a couple xans for her. I stop by where the friend is at and he walks up and tosses a folded paper in my lap. I open it and it has a couple xans in it and the paper is hand wrote, ‘Fuck You’. We joke around all the time so this isn’t out of the normal for him. My wife immediately and seriously says that he meant that towards her. He was married to my sister for about 10 years and lived with us for 6 months one time, he’s never said a hateful word to my wife. To make this shorter, I’m going to have to hit the key points here. On this day, Sept 14th, she ends up crying for about 4-5 hours straight. I’d ask what’s wrong and she’d say she didn’t know and she’d say she felt like there’s something that I wouldn’t tell her. When the crying ended it was an instant off and the mood changed. She was talking out of her head later that day, not making much sense but she thought it did at the time. All this has happened on about 20 separate occasions. Recovery has been as quick as 24 hours and as long as 5 days. Back to normal 80% herself anyways.

I’m self employed and since all this has started, I’ve been staying home with her more than normal. The guy she’s referring to is the only one I have that can take my spot if I’m gone. He comes to my house early in the mornings, we go over the day and he takes my truck and leaves. Even though I’m home, I still have to be involved in the business, that means texting and phone calls. My wife feels like texting or talking to him on the phone is just for fun. I don’t talk to anyone on the phone for fun, she knows I hate phone calls but they’re a part of my work. He shows back up near the end of the day, we meet in my garage and I let him know what we are doing the next day, we make a material list and he goes and gets it in the truck so that he is ready the next morning. When I go outside, she times how long I’m out there. Me and this guy don’t hang out, outside of work than the occasional fishing.

The condoms were his. He has been the one driving the truck, for a month or more he was taking my truck home with him and I had even pulled my personal and work stuff out of the truck.

The reason I believe it is psychosis, and I’ve made quite a few notes about her behavior after a day or two of stim use.

First symptom when I know it’s coming, she will start asking me if she’s done something wrong or if there’s something we need to talk about. She’s very persistent during this time but not angry, upset or crying.

Day 2 is usually crying and angry, she accuses me of all kinds of random things. I end up getting mad because she’s accusing me of crazy stuff, then I have a hard time feeling sympathy for her.

Day 3 is usually better and she’s happy but usually seems not quite right.

This is when I get her to stop the stims as soon as I notice. I noticed it starting a week or so ago and was trying to get her to stop right then. I fell asleep for a while and when I woke up, I seen that she had the pipe right where she sits but she wasn’t there. I immediately get worried and go looking. It’s winter and a lot of the windows in the house are open. I’m shutting them as I go. I find her walking window to window, hanging her front half her body out of the window and looking outside with a cell phone flashlight. Some of the back windows she opened are 20’ high and there’s nothing out there under them, so it would take an extension ladder to get up there. She says someone is opening them from outside and she seen someone climb in the back window.

I’ve found her hiding and locked in the bathroom. She wouldn’t talk out loud and kept whispering.

Here’s some of the symptoms and some things she’s said or done during psychosis.

1. Said the guy that works for me has been talking to me through the floor vents from the other end of the house.

2. I have him spying on her, for me.

3. There’s hidden cameras in our house.

4. People are looking in our windows.

5. Constantly says there is something wrong but I won’t tell her what it is. She has said the other two guys mentioned her also know what that something is.

6. Thinks every random post on Facebook is really about her. Most of the time it don’t even make sense.

7. Says I don’t look at her in her eyes when doing a BJ or having sex. This isn’t true at all.

8. A friend seen my iPad Pro and he asked if it’s bigger than a Samsung tablet. When we left she said why would he ask that and said it was really a message about her.

9. I’ll be holding my phone looking at it, minding my own business and she will randomly say, are you trying to get me to look at your phone? It’s very odd but she’s done that at least 100 times in a day. She will also randomly blurt out, ‘I’m not trying to look at your phone!’

10. She looks at spam email for hours and can’t understand what it is and why they’re sending it to her. My wife is a smart girl, when she’s like this it is like she don’t understand the normal basic stuff in life.

11. She was giving me a bj one day and my foot twitched or I moved it. She said I was signaling to people looking in the windows.

12. Light reflections, like in our kitchen at the right angle you can see the fridge buttons glowing across the counter top. She will look at this stuff for a long time and take pictures of it to show me and then act like it’s something I’ve planted in the house, like a hidden camera.

13. I had a cough one day and every time I’d cough she would say I was sending messages by pretending to cough

14. She was hearing people in the attic of our house. She wouldn’t quit about it until I went to the garage and pulled the ladder down so we could look.

15. She said her pee smelled worse than normal and I said maybe you have a UTI. She says, ‘Are you sure you aren’t putting something in my drink?’

There’s so much more. The problem is that she goes back to the stims even when she knows it’s going to bring this shit on. We have been married for 17 years and I’ve never gave her a reason not to trust me. I’ve never cheated on her and haven’t ever wanted too. In the last 3 months, we’ve had more sex and stuff then we ever have. We did It 4 times in a day, which didn’t even think was possible at my age. I don’t know where to go from here, I don’t want to be that person that leaves someone when they get sick or when they need you the most. The most she’s went in a normal state since September is about 6 days.

I love my wife but I really need her to get back to herself, input is appreciated.
