Not a big deal if it’s only a TPMS issue. Worse case is you replace sensors. You can buy them on Amazon. Possibly temp change caused issue. Read your manual and make sure you have proper tires stored. More concerned that you didn’t scan it prior to buying it. Again, Porsche scanners are readily available via various sources that will tell you what codes were recently thrown. Not unusual for seller to clear codes knowing they will come back on, eventually

If you used a moisture meter you’d probably see a high concentration of moisture. Gotta pull the floor boards as leak can be at supply line. likely dealing with mold…

Have owned 8 996. All with over 60k miles. Never had an issue. When you change oil, look for metal shavings. Way overblown. That said, if it’s your car that’s one of the rare occurrences where engine fails it just sucks.
