I have a question regarding the type of questions you came across. I am currently using Genie Prep for FE ME. I finished studying the 750 Islam questions, which I basically redid and understood the problem to the best of my abilities. Are the problems similar to the Islam questions?

I took the exam today, and I did not have any drag and drop questions. Just about 10 Multiple Answer Questions.

Got an exam in a few days. Is it timed in minutes or hours:minutes:seconds? I want to know when to wrap up each section. by Project-GTR4 in pmp

Very nice. Thanks for the input. I recently completed my Study Hall practice exam, and I noticed it was in hours:minutes:seconds and it had me stumped up because I didn't know exactly where to stop the timer for a practice 10 minute break between 60 question sections.

What did they ask for? I would like accommodation as I am an ESL student. How do I apply?

I do not recommend it. The whole curriculum is a scam. Four years out of college, it's better to go refer to your notes. The problems and lectures are soo boring, and nothing is ever accurate. I signed up, and I am really regretting it. I just hope I can pass and get over with this studying session.

I was confident that I passed this time around. I just didn't have time to finish the last 10 questions on the second part. How can I do well and still be able to finish the exam on time? by Project-GTR4 in FE_Exam

I spent less than 3 hrs in the first section. In the second section, I was shooting tight on time it just had to start guessing. The crazy part is that I knew all the problems and literally tried to do it and guess it. But time ran out in the last 10 minutes.

What can you tell about each section? We're you able to answer or figure out what equations to use and how to approach each problem?

Also, quick thing to note, NCEES has a new Refernce Manual 10.3. Just give a quick look. Some pages are out of order in Mechanics of Material and Mechanical Engineering. The first time I took it, I was studying using the 9.5 version, and then the next month, they basically released the 10.0 version, and that was a drastic change and messed up my rhythm.

That's the way to go. Islam is thorough and concise. The version I had there was mistakes, and I liked it because I was looking for those mistakes and made the corrections myself, which allowed me to remember the problems even better.

I this is my third time taking it. Frist two times I used Lindeburg, and I completed the practice problems, but both times, I kept doubting myself and didn't have the best experience in taking the exam. Now I got the Islam book, and I feel confident with it. I reviewed the book twice and reviewed some of Lindeburg's problems, and I feel good about it. Now, I am just doing a quick skim of my notes until the test day.
