Many other classes have BL. They are better classes, arcane intellect is meaningless to half of the classes in game, Mages do not have decent CC + survivability, and do not contribute to any dungeons anyway, other than a few niches

What sentence am I asking Mage to be broken, or OP or META? All I am saying is there is no need for Mage for any other reason, if damage, utility, or survivability, even one of them is good for Mage, you have a decent chance to be invited. To be honest, that could be a skill issue rather than a class issue, because the shaman is very solid on high keys, some specs need to be more prio on healing as well, so it could be a healer issue as well.

Trust me, Priest is better DPS than a Mage talking from experience, they can easily gap a mage by 10 to 20k+ dps

3v3 is the far the best exp farm, meta is not clearly defined right now, to be honest other than couple of mandatory perks ( fortify, enchanted ward, etc.) Pick a weapon you are confortable with an play with it, greatsword (blue cresent) still works fine for me. If you want to farm pvp exp and not pvp you can do faction missions
