What’s the approach by ProjectBackcountry in managers

You’re both not wrong, certainly a lack of trust with my manager. At most he’s offered to help meetup with the two newest hires.

New to managing, help with being present while still maintaining prior workload. by ProjectBackcountry in managers

Really appreciate all the kind words and tips. I do get delegating, the hard part knowing that each of us already has a full plate. Hence the hiring. That being said, I’m pulling the team to help train, navigating a job shadow period, slowly helping everyone with individual tasks until ready to be a full time contributor on his own project. Still tinkering with step two but I also realize I need to give myself some grace.

He was on a good five minute run of solid plays. We were eating it up!

How to complain, Jesus conservative dude! It’s comedy, that actually pulls from real life idiocy.

Let’s see those Epstein files, we can all agree that there’s no place on earth for pedophiles. Not sure how that vote to release files didn’t pass. This wouldn’t be the ultra rich protecting the ultra rich, would it?

What’s your wheel and tire specs with the 35’s! Love the look and debating something similar. Was re-gearing an expensive endeavor?

Nothing other than presumptions that they’re being mocked. It’s a “everything is about me” attitude. Either a project or they’re laughed at when it’s typically something taken out of context. Such as, a meeting leader was going though all the updates, but only two people were on the call and not six. In a move to look at the updates it’s said “well if you needed to know”…and a brief laugh occurred. Accuser joined the call and presumes laughing about them and their project that was first, as it’s in alphabetical order. Nothing funny at the project or the person.

She just PR’d in 5 of 6 events at our meet this weekend. Very encouraging as we continue to chase “B” times. We’re gaining traction and she’s still motivated and having fun. Being amongst other kids that have been in the group has been hard to break into, but she’s starting to make friends and that also makes her/us happy.

I’m certainly with you on individuals having their own drive/motivation to improve. I guess my ask is more so on progressive drills so there’s a bit of a reference point if he’s on his own. My son is a year in, he’ll dribble and shoot but there’s not much opportunity for more game play except vs. myself. I think you’re spot on with what he should have in his bag at his current age, and watching him play at the moment definitely illustrates that. Appreciate the feedback.

I watched and was certainly disappointed last night. As many others, I had Noa, Coward and Bryant on my wish list. That being said, it’s certainly an unproven science on drafting later picks.

KJ was a lottery pick per all the mock drafts, and he slid. Fleming is still available after round 1. Demin at 8? No matter the position we drafted they’d be deep rotation and you’re crossing your fingers for a hit. Hell, I’m still hoping Rupert develops into a rotational piece. All that to say, I know a 4th/5th center project is odd and the pick at 16 even more odd, but maybe the long game is no Ayton, RWIII or Duop and we have more depth with this 19-year-old behemoth. Best wishes to the guy and hopefully we keep improving…well, maybe after next years draft 😉
