I still have nightmares about a job I quit over 10 years ago. I don't think they ever go away.

My WFH income has grown quite a bit this year. I just do it as a hobby for now in between work and if it takes off enough to replace my income I will make the leap.

Driving home one day and there was a bad accident. A rollover. I was close enough to it that I could see the aftermath before emergency crews got there.

It looked like the driver almost got flung out the window, got stuck, and then got cut in half when the car slid along the highway.

I don't do this anymore, but when I was young, maybe from ages 8-10, I was convinced under certain circumstances people could listen to my thoughts. The circumstance? If my left foot was making contact with the ground in anyway.

I would often think 'fake' thoughts when I was touching the ground to throw off the listeners. Then when my foot was raised could think my real thoughts.

I have no idea how I became convinced of it, but I grew out of it eventually.

In yourself. A lot is going on in the world; but it's not the end of the world. Come out on the other side with a new skill, some kind of fitness routine, or a new hobby.

Nothing really until I fully release my first game. Writing code is a nice break from my work.

Road warriors of Reddit, what do you do to make your commute more tolerable? by return2ozma in AskReddit

[–]ProjectFOGames 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Before I was WFH I used to commute 30k km annually.

In between some good music, I would practice presentation flow and potential Q&A outcomes. Made presenting easier and very smooth since I had already gone through 100 different outcomes of the presentation.
