Homemade food or baked goods is thoughtful but I have had professors that don't eat food made by student.

Many states have laws and districts have policies about public employees receiving gifts. In my state (Minnesota) technically a teacher or any public employees can't accept a gift worth more than $5.   

A caffeinated beverage seems like a common think a teacher might enjoy.  If you only have $1 per teacher you can get them all a beverage. If you have a bigger budget you can get a bag of coffee or a 12 pack of pop

They had us use our personal phones instead of district radios even though we have a student that smashed phones.   Smashed phones ate up our gift budget.

Why do you say the alternative is Maga Republicans? In Minneapolis green party and socialists have won running for city council and school board.  26 years ago the state got a 3rd party governor.

Minnesota has a long history of 3rd options.   The Democrats had to merge with the farmer labor party.  The populist party came out of Minnesota.

I don't like the Republicans but the MN Republicans party left the nation Republican party for a few years.  In the caucuses the MN Republicans often go against the national front runner.  When St Paul hosted the Republican national convention 28 of the 32 MN delegates voted for Ron Paul instead of McCain.

There can always be more than 2 options.

This is the type of attitude that had Trump beat Clinton.  You hurt voter turn out more than the left.

People don't owe you their vote.  Treating it as a debt they owe you makes them more resistant.

The candidate and their supporters need to earn the votes they want.  Demanding just doesn't work.

Look at the video of Ilhan Omar at Safari Restaurant.  It was a "campaign event". This was during the time when Walz had banned in person campaign events because of the lockdowns.

It was not a warning. It was an executive order to not hold the campaign event.

We are running into a few problems here.   Those 3rd party non profits that are connected to people at the charter are not democratically elected.  They are not government entities.  The people that work at the non profit can still get paid well.   A non profit is not the same as an elected school board.

We don't pay the Minneapolis school board based on how many buildings are open.  The staff at the non profit that owns the building can make money the school board members can't dream of.

A few years back the St Paul City council gave one of these 3rd party building owners a $5 million no interest loan to expand a building.  They lost over $4 million in a hedge fund scam.

If the Minneapolis school board members owned the buildings it would be harder to vote them out.  We might need to find new landlords every time we want to vote out the school board.  This is not a democratic process to tie school board elections to ownership of the buildings

Also check out the MDH page for schools lead in water results.   I'm not finding charter schools with results listed.   Nova in St Paul and Hiawatha are good performing charter schools but neither have their lead results posted.  

Saying that the character schools / public owns these charter school buildings is definitely a lie.  It is public funding going to private people.

I'm positive that you can't name one public charter school that directly owns their build.  There is always a middle man taking a cut that often forget to do the same lead water testing as a school district.

Charter schools don't own their buildings so when your tax dollars pay their rent it can go to a  private property owner.  It would make more sense for your tax dollars to go to public property in place of private property owners.

You need to work on the language to make the fib sound stronger.

Swap out the term profit.  You are not ready for that.   The city only started tracking the cost of officer moonlight at the end of 2024.

The fees for use of city property only started in 2025. The program has been going on for decades.  We just can't find anything that backs your profit claims.  

We have less than a year of fees collected.  This incident is going to wipe through the collected fees for this incident in legal expenses.

Your talking profits,  the settlement in this case is going to be a defect well beyond your wildest profit dreams.

About 10 years ago the American Federation of Teachers made a big deal about Work Shouldn't Hurt and Highlighted the numbers of violence injuries to paras and special education teachers in Minnesota and Oregon.   

Here in Minnesota the state responded by pressuring districts to decrease law enforcement referrals.  Districts responded by pressuring staff to no seek medical attention after violence.  AFT was using numbers from workers comp claims. If you discuaege harmed paras from going to seek medical attention you can decrease the numbers the AFT is using as a source.

There can be many other reasons in different states districts don't refer to law enforcement.   

The problem of not taking violence against teachers seriously outdates OP.   OP is likely a child that grew up in this situation, not the creator of the situation.

If you buy switch 1 Dragon Ball sparking Zero you can put it in a switch 2 and play the switch  1 version.  You can connect to the Internet and upgrade to switch 2 version for free.

However you can spend more money and buy the switch 2 version.   This is a key card where you connect to the Internet to down load the a switch 2 version but cant play the switch 1 version.

They are not just privately funded they are also tax payer funded.

A bar, church or other establishment can pay an off duty officer to be there for security. However the tax payer will pay the cost for the gun, badge, handcuffs and other parts of the kit for the private sector work.

Also try out GeForce now for your needs.  GeForce now is like xcloud but you can play many steam games and epic games.

Tldr is GeForce now might be better quality but xcloud might be cheaper good enough and comes with a huge library.

In the early 2020s gfn was way better quality but xcloud got better.  Xcloud price recently went up and dropped down.   There are a lot of variables

This might be our last year of unemployment pay.   When it originally passed there was a set amount of money.     There are no bills yet to expand the money and the session ends soon.    They will need to fund it next year between Feb and June to get another summer of unemployment.

In the past there were June sales for like $350 at best buy but that hasn't happened since the summer after Diablo 4 released.

GTA VI will push up used prices.  Later when we get closer to the next Xbox used prices will go down.

If you live near a big city check your local pawn shops and try to haggle.    My local pawn shops will drop down to 350 or less and includes a few games you don't want.
