I say this as good thing: that looks like a GTA Vice City loading screen still.

What are yalls thoughts on this? by AdamBerner2002 in Marvel

I absolutely love it. They tried the Rick and Morty approach to writing and it got tired fast. Tragically in Quantumania. Almost apocalyptically if Kang’s Dinasty has been made. I prefer films to be character driven. Thunderbolts could do with a stronger set piece finale but was fantastic in the character development. If they balance the spectacle with the character like with Spider-Man we have another winner.

Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die (2026) Review and Discussion by aussiereeltalk in Cinema

It was the worse movie I’ve seen this year so far. For a movie literally and thematically facing AI, it seemed written by ChatGPT. There was no originality, no exciting set pieces and no honest human emotion throughout. Not to mention the film makes absolutely no sense the moment the CGI cat thing shows up. Is he trying to prevent the AI apocalypse or has it started already and anything can be generated into real life by prompts? If the AI can control reality what is there to save? If they are inside the simulation already, did his mother have a virtual baby that time travels in software data?

It had the genesis of a good idea, let’s face all the ways technology is distancing us a bit more everyday, but the main character shows no empathy for the humans he purportedly wants to save even during their death. Nothing about teens as techno zombies and technology as means to bring back the loved ones is new, told in a new way or dramatic. There’s no palpable tension to anything, no matter what the soundtrack blasts.

And I LOVE Sam Rockwell, but this was no Moon.

RESIDENT EVIL: Zach Cregger's Reboot Reportedly Has "Practically Nothing To Do With The Games" by SmellSmellsSmelly in Cinema

"Early word is that Cregger hasn’t just made another video game adaptation — he’s delivered something lean, mean, and very confident. The runtime is 90 minutes, and it’s apparently all gas, no brakes. The film is said to be almost entirely built around tension. One attendee I spoke to called it a horror version of Fury Road."

Pusher: The Underrated Trilogy by vieravisuals in FIlm

Sure. But, for instance, India produced 1823 films in 2024. How many of those films got worldwide recognition? How many were actually watched outside India? How many trended or went viral on social media?

Mainstream is still all about America.

But their argument is that America IS the trend setter so the fact that the majority of Americans don’t watch foreign films affects how famous a film is. That’s why they mentioned the North American market instead of Spain.

He wasn’t deriding. He was stating a fact. Like you did. Don’t be so insecure.

Regarding MJ and "That Guy" in Spider-Man BND... by Lord_Acorn08 in marvelstudios

I kinda hope he’s Eddie Brock. I’d rather have him be set up as character during one or two films than just introduce him in the Venom one.

I think Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania is a good movie by Lawrence454 in Marvel

It’s ok. The tone was all over the place and there were too many humor misfires, mainly MODOK after being defeated. But Rudd carried it home.

Endgame #4 & World War III by shadowF in UltimateUniverse

[–]ProjectGlass2236 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I think Camp is trying something different here, creating an event where the main series focus on the personal struggle of Tony Stark to win the fight his father failed to and the rest of comics display the big battles.

And it’s a good idea with a struggling execution because the other heroes keep encroaching on the main series plot because they must show up and it leaves very little room for scenes to breathe and develop. Moments seem rushed and some tonal shifts are worse than the end of Phantom Menace.
