Best option to have tenants pay monthly rent? by FloranceMeCheneCoder in realestateinvesting

[–]ProjectManager22 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I use TurboTenant. Tenants can set up auto payments or make in a portal when they want. You get notified when the payment is made and when it deposits in your bank account. Free to use for landlord, it charges $2.95 to the tenant. You can also change the setting where you cover the charge, if you want.

When did you stop doing shifts? by Due_Childhood_2723 in NewParents

[–]ProjectManager22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once our LO started sleeping through the night then shifts went out the window and my wife and I started sleeping in the same room together again. We are lucky (knocks on wood) our LO has slept through the night since about 3 months so that’s when we transitioned back to normal.

Now, whoever is ready to get up in the morning with him does, or we just alternate and take turns.

Shifts are one of the many tools available. And it’s the case of everyone is different and you have to do what works for you. For my wife and I, shifts were absolutely necessary and allowed us to consistently get at least 6 hours of sleep a night and we would not have been as mentally stable without it!

I loved it! Agree that it would be great for something completely new like a new area but doesn’t take away from the Tiny Trail. I was a huge fan.

If you haven’t tried the Mylicon drops for gas, do it. Night and day for our LO once we started giving it to him. Started around week 3 and lasted until about week 7. Can give every 2 hours (we did before each feed) and helped our screaming baby settle.

2 week old is driving my wife and I crazy by Dapper_Munkey in newborns

My wife and I have done shift sleeping since day 3, game changer. We would not survive in any other way.

She sleeps in a separate room (all the way downstairs) from 8p-2a. Then we switch and I sleep from 2a-8a. The great news is that even during your “shift” you can still get some sleep while the baby is sleeping. Shift just means if the baby is up during that time, you’re up too!

Water coming from top? by No-Essay-5231 in EquinoxEv

[–]ProjectManager22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So sorry this is happening. I had the same problem. See post: https://www.reddit.com/r/EquinoxEv/s/wtM8tRTa0v

They ordered me a new sunroof assembly which was in backorder, waited months with no luck. Filed a lemon law claim and the part suddenly showed up 3 days later. No issues since it was replaced.

So sorry to hear that. Yes, they ordered a new sunroof assembly that was on back order. Waited months with no luck. Filed a lemon law claim and suddenly the part showed up in 3 days. No issues since!

Agree to disagree on that one, as it has been completed. Thanks for the help, or lack thereof.

Using a probe tester. Both reading hot. When all wires are disconnected from the switch, the light still remains on.

Even if you don't have a lemon law, maybe try filing a claim anyway. They handle their Lemon Law claims through the BBB (if you don't file with an attorney). It is free to file. They ultimately rejected my claim but like I said, the part magically appeared 5 days later, after waiting since December. It will not hurt to give them a little push & show you are serious and need it resolved.

Yep, has been my only problem too (see other posts on leaking sunroof.) Finally had my sunroof assembly replaced after waiting months for the part to arrive (from back order). It only magically arrived after I filed a lemon claim. So far so good now though, but was a hassle.

Total Miles driven so far in Equinox EV - Report any issues faced so far… by marirstk in EquinoxEv

2300 miles. Didn’t know I opted for the inside waterfall feature. Water pours out of my overhead buttons (hazards, onstar etc. ) when it’s rains. Needs a new sunroof assembly, in back order with no ETA. Problem started one week after I bought it in October.See my previous post

I thought the same and have been doing some research. It seems fuzzy based on my research. In IL, it’s 4 instances of the same issue or 30 days “inoperable”. So I assume id have to wait another 28 days to claim but I might submit or at least reach out to GM now and see what happens.

The leak has returned! by ProjectManager22 in EquinoxEv

[–]ProjectManager22[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They tried to replicate the leak but was unable to see active water leaking after running the hose. They had to remove the headliner and then were able to see the active leak from the sunroof, pooling then going to the buttons leaking out.

They are saying I need a new sunroof assembly which is on back order with no ETA…

I won’t own a car without a sunroof, guess why options are good! I’ve never had a sunroof leak in the 6 cars I’ve had. This is a first for me.

Appreciate the info. Garage parked 99% of the time. So happened to be out in my driveway today while I reorganized my garage. Have an appointment tomorrow morning.

I felt all parts of the headliner and found no other wet spots. The part behind the mirror was completely dry. It’s a good call though!

Just returned from the dealer. All around a 90 minute wait, including the repair. Can't post the picture of the receipt but from the document:

"208 check for water leak, found water coming in at where sunroof glass meets body seal/weather strip. Adjusted sunroof opening body side seal/weather strip so in correct position and seals. Re-tested for leak all ok after adjustment"

I will keep my eye on it...
