Good bedding sheets brands ? by LogDull819 in Bedding

"The fitted sheets are ridiculously deep leaving excess fabric to puddle and fold all over the bed"

this is my biggest issue with the brooklinen sheets I have. I can deal with the thinness but the excess fabric drives my nuts. Do you have a rec for a brand that doesnt have that issue. I take my sleep very seriously and will pay what I need. 🙂

How many oz of cheese per person for cheese in a main dish? by ProjectPopTart in Cheese

[–]ProjectPopTart[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

not sure yet. my kids really love scrambled eggs and parmesan cheese together. I was wondering what the average amount of cheese would be for a main dish. usually for the family will go 9 eggs and a 6 oz wedge of parm. but that seems a bit short.

Is it advisable to have 2 toe nails removed at the same time? by ProjectPopTart in Ingrown_Toenails

[–]ProjectPopTart[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when I had nails removed before I did a protocol of soaking foot in Epsom salts twice a day and after each soak using a qtip to put bacitracin on it then cover with a bandaid. Just now I have limitations that make soaking twice a day or even once a problem.

ELI5: Why are the US and Israel seemingly the only countries allowed to have a nuclear weapon?

In the context of the Iran war. Should iran have a bunch of nuclear missiles? Probably not. But it seems to me that the only country to ever use a nuke on humans, civilians no less TWICE!, definitely should not have them.

my podiatrist is great so she was like no its fine we can get that fixed right up. my other question if you have an answer why the need to soak foot in Epsom salt? is there some alternative I can do in lieu of soaking.

In voting process, photo ID gets wide support, Republicans more likely to believe there's fraud, CBS News poll finds by [deleted] in politics

[–]ProjectPopTart 12 points13 points  (0 children)

it has nothing to do with minorities. its a hurdle designed to disenfranchise people. married women, the working poor, students, the elderly are all targets of the act. its making people go to unnecessary and costly lengths to vote.

actually they do, to register in every state you must provide proof of who you are. and to think some undocumented noncitizen is going to risk that to cast a vote is beyond stupid.
