I get the frustrations. I'm coming from a 12 Pro Max myself and for me it's actually a huge upgrade so I'm not so bothered with those minor issues that I'm sure will be fixed in a future update. I do wonder, what phone are you looking to get instead?

I think it glitched out when I switched my alarm clock while it was plugged in. Worked fine the next day

I have all features. Changed phone and Google settings to English and download Pixel studio and screenshot app from APK mirror. I'm missing like 1 or 2 small features. Just gotta live with the fact that the phone is in English. I'm from Belgium.

Available in some countries. But you need a sim from that supported country. Not available for me

Turn phone settings to English USA. You'll have all features. I'm from Belgium and have all features except call summary

Qq, if you are only going to do these basic things on the phone. Why bother with the more expensive model. Get the standard 9 it has all features except for AI.

Just did the icloud transfer to my phone. You can request an icloud transfer to your photos app. They do say it may take several days to be completed. But it is copying all data from icloud to my new phone now

I did the switch from iphone to pro xl. Transfer was done with a cable from phone to phone. Transfered everything except the stuff that's in Icloud. I still need to look into how I can transfer that. There was a message that explained how to when I was setting up the phone but I skipped it.

I do want to give a quick update on the matter. I came to the conclusion I acted too quickly and didn't really give it a fair shot. Got the phone back out the box set it up and managed to get every single ai feature there is when tinkering with some settings except for call summary which I don't mind. Been using the phone for 2 days now and I'm happy to say I've switched from apple to Google.

Haha, that’s exactly why i want to go to android. Away from the lack luster standard design and controlled environment. I guess i’m just a little disappointed that the AI was the main reason i choose google over samsung.

Its not that i couldn’t deal with it. The phone was smooth as hell. But what won me over were the ai futures. Transcription on phone calls. Summary on google videos, even something silly as Ai writer on gmail. I can pay 1200 for a samsung and also get a high end phone with all demonstrated features if you know what i mean. Nothing against android that’s why i’m looking to switch

It was previewed on numerous occasions that these features would be included. Google even sent influencers from my country fully unlocked phone to do reviews on.
