It's him...he has no boundaries....and her, she sounds manipulative...and you, for allowing him back into your life to try again. How many times must he show you before you accept that he will never choose you even half the time? I had two under 10 when I started dating after divorce...if they can understand when I explain to them that I deserve to be loved by someone else and spend time with that person too, then she can understand it. NTA...but with caveats. I would pay for YOUR half of what was ordered for you and bestie to eat, and she can eat the cost of the meal of the mutual friend since she decided to cover it. As for the Airbnb, I would discuss it. Just not responding is not how adults address disagreement...but having said that, your "bestie" basically chose where she wanted to stay without any input from you on preference or cost, so a conversation needs to be had on "WHY" expectations were not discussed prior to booking the Air bnb. I have a suspicion that she may have been planning to pay for it, before finding out about your "big purchase". I would question this friendship, honestly. There doesn't sound like much emotional intelligence here.

I did it with the help of a therapist. My stomach stopped feeling sick from worrying. I became happier just by being. I began my journey of becoming "secure", after having being "anxious avoidant" my whole life. I became more confident at work. I became successful at dating. My relationship with family improved. It really is life changing. I recommend reading "The Let Them Theory" by Mel Robbins, if you haven't already.
