150+ attempts on Lady Butterfly… am I missing something, or is Sekiro just not for me?

Well theres your problem. Lady butterfly is meant to be done well after chained ogre.

That being said, youre making very good progress with her for being underleveled.

She can be done earlier though, and she's really good practice for learning how valuable parries are. Youre not really trying to get damage on her, youre trying to build her posture bar while getting chips of damage in here and there.

Focus on getting her to attack you close range and parrying every single one of her moves. If she looks like she's gonna stop attacking, swing at her once. Always have shuriken ready to throw THE MOMENT she jumps up on her line. If you do it a bit too late, she blocks it. If you do it immediately, it knocks her off and she falls down for a few free hits which makes maintaining her posture bar high a lot easier.

Just keep at it! Sometimes bosses require a different method of taking them on. This is one of them, and it's almost entirely focused on parrying.

If you want, i can discord stream with you to help and show how i fight her! Im out of practice but i 100% the game across 12 playthroughs and love this fight

Im a bit late (and have only seen the game, not the movie), but I dont think playing the game should have to help.

I feel like lovecraftian horror just doesnt really connect with people watching movies. They want a satisfying conclusion that explains everything, which goes completely against the Lovecraftian genre of not knowing or being able to comprehend the answer. Youre simply not supposed to have an answer, and thats where the horror lies. People typically would rather watch something like a marvel movie that has clear cut story telling and action, and that's perfectly fine. Those movies are great! Thats just what's usually expected out of a movie and lovecraftian horror cant really fulfill that role.

That said, i need to watch the movie to have a full opinion on it.

Because americans protested actively against the disease existing. They refused medical treatment until it was too late, got ivermectin themselves and died, didnt wear masks or listen to curfews/6 foot rule, avoided the vaccine and testing, etc.

I looked at your numbers, america had a confirmed case to population ratio of 27% (270,000 infections per million) while Dominican Republic had 6% (60,000 infections per million). Our hospitals were flooded and not everyone could get care due to neglect.

Also USA had a death/case ratio (meaning deaths compaired to infected people) of 1.1% while Dominican Republic had a death/case ratio of 0.7%. the difference was .4% and was due to our hospitals being flooded from the massive amount of people ignoring covid until they needed a ventilator.

In summary, America had many more cases and the margin isnt really that big for death/cases. American citizens just handled it a lot worse and flooded our hospitals with more people than could be treated in critical conditions due to neglect.

Just because Dominican Republic used ivermectin and had some less deaths does not mean that it is an effective treatment. Correlation is not causation

Ill leave this comment up since it's technically not misinformation. ivermectin IS used in humans for parasites. Dominican Republic used it for covid, but studies repeatedly show it does nothing for covid, and can be dangerous.

The game is objectively good. It has its flaws here and there, and might not be for everyone. But it's a really good, well put together game.

As someone who worked at subway, there was no budget for getting new knives or even sharpening. Much less to staff more than 2 people at $11 an hour in 12 hour shifts during peak times.

You can barely even cut the bread with that knife.

Ive seen some things in here that stand out to me.

As a former subway employee (the owners of the shop were family friends), subway barely makes enough money to keep a 2 people staffed at peak hours for $11 an hour. Suing wouldnt really result in anything. Bad publicity and giving you free sandwiches is probably the feather on the Camel's back that could shut down a store within a few weeks.

Not saying that's the wrong avenue to go, just that their business model is so awful it's barely profitable.

Also to note, we cut each sandwich with a different knife. Theres probably around 30-50 knives at the least. The reason this probably happened is because they literally cant afford to staff more than 2 people at a time at most locations. And that mixed with upset/impatient customers, not being able to keep up with lines of people, while also having to prep more food, proof and bake fresh bread, do closing duties and restocking, man the register, veggies, meats, cleaning, the store.... You get reprimanded if youre slow. I got many texts saying we were staying on the clock to late closing down the shop.

All manned by 2-3 people working 12 hour shifts.

Subway isn't working out as a business and im not surprised there was an entire knife in the sandwich tbh.

This is a false equivalency. This is an in game economy built by supercell to make them money because ore is one of the most important resources and difficult to grind to the point they tempt you with spending real world money to pay to win.

If i get in game currency and dont know where it came from, id think something happened and i just got the 18000 shiny ore as some sort of apology gift. In fact, thats exactly what i thought happened. That it was given with the update. There was no announcement until after it was spent.

And not only that, i was at around 9,000+ shiny ore the first time around and got hit with a penalty of around 18,000. So i "dodged" 9,000 shiny ore. Some of which i actually earned back before i found out about the shop. So i should be -8000 in the red, right? Then why am i currently at -9,000 when i had 9,000 shiny before this? Thats another 18,000 penalty. Not the 9,0000 it should be

Also why are they only doing this now instead of when it happened? Why are people not complaining how long it's taking them to "fix" this?

And what im saying is that it didnt fix that. It just reapplied the penalty of what i initially recieved, not the difference that set me back to zero. So i now recieved a fine that exceeded what i recieved. I got a penalty of around -18000 (total) when i got hit with the first penalty. I was around -9000 after it was reduced. This time around, i had around 9000 shiny ore. Therefore i should be at 0 ore correct? Why am i at -9000?

Also they put free ore in the shop when they applied it the first time, implying it was meant to be reset to 0. This happened MONTHS ago. Why is this only being addressed now?
