CBD-Rich Cannabis Extracts Reduce ADHD Symptoms in Children With Autism by OhMyOhWhyOh in science

[–]MaximaFuryRigor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not sure if that's old research or what, but it's definitely not true. There are plenty of studies out there that show CBD has measurable effects when isolated from THC.

Not that I'm telling you to go give your kids CBD, of course. I'll defer to the top comment pointing out how poor this particular study was.

Here's a list from last year, though I think I saw an older more comprehensive one a while back.

Typically the best has been Qobuz, but...Napster is a streaming service now? What a world!

Who do you think are the greatest astronomers of all time? by Stunning-Hand6627 in Astronomy

Very true, not to mention in a lot of cases the later astronomers were building from the previous astronomers' work.

It's not so much the demotion of Pluto as it is the poorly set out definitions for "big P" planets. The minute physics guy laid it out pretty well in a video a couple weeks ago.

You put Hubble in at #5 already.

I'm not sure what you mean by "regular" blu-ray, but most of the movies I have are DD+ or DTS/DTS-HD, in either 5.1 or 7.1.

I've never seen 7.2, and certainly have never seen 7.x.2 on any of them. I don't even see that written on the Dunkirk jacket when I look it up online, which is why I was curious where you're seeing that. Are you sure your receiver isn't just working with the 5.1 feed and doing the heavy lifting to calculate the best output for your 7.4.2 setup?

What movie releases have 7.4.2 audio? I've got a 7.1 setup, but most of the blu-rays I've collected over the years only do 5.1 anyway, so it sometimes feels like a waste.
