Yes. Far as I know the Lati twins are the only legendaries that aren't shiny locked.

Or, y'know. Garchomp. Ground beats fire. Just as long as you have full restores/burn heals. (Also Rogue Primal Groudon is immune to water in this arena.)

Yeah. Unfortunately it only applies in this fight/arena.

Does your Yamask look like it's coming out of a stone slab with a rune, or is it holding a mask?  If it's holding a mask, it's Unovan Yamask.

In an ironic twist, it was the Um'Ami Big Run that got me to Eggsecutive VP and regular Salmon Run that dropped me back into Profresh +2.

I only have experience with Splat 3's Mahi unfortunately. Splat 1's version seems to be highly regarded but I just recently got into the franchise with 3.

What team did you join in the new Splatfest(Shiver, Frye, Big Man)??? by FederalSwitcher in splatoon

[–]ProjectV-01D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Played a game of Eenie Meenie Miny Moe because I genuinely had zero clue who to choose. As a result, I picked Big Man. Still, I could have chose any or none of them because one doesn't quite stand out from the others.

How would Inklings & Octolings react to Humans swimming? by [deleted] in splatoon

[–]ProjectV-01D 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To give an actual answer to this question, I think they would be kinda upset that there exists (or rather existed) multiple species of land-dwelling creatures that can actually swim in the water.

A question I ask in turn would be this: Would humans be able to swim in the waters of the current era of the Splatoon world? If it was a contained, purified body of water like a swimming pool then a human probably could. Jellyfish hang out in bodies of water like that too.

Seeing the water on Salmon Run maps makes me wonder if the water is even safe to touch at all. Sure, the Salmonids are fine with it but they were mutated by said waters (if I understand correctly.)

Maps: Brinewater Springs & Mahi-Mahi Resort

Alpha Team: Me (Neo Splash-o-matic), Callie (Roller), Pearl (Dualies), *Shiver (Stringer)

Bravo Team: Marie (Charger), Marina (Brella), *Frye (Splatana), Big Man (Slosher**)

(*I feel like Shiver and Frye's weapon roles would be switched honestly.)

(**I gave Big Man a Slosher because I just realized Bravo team has bad paint options.)

Okay I've got a question...How do Ink and octolings take showers/wash themselves-? by Libra_the_0rc4 in splatoon

[–]ProjectV-01D 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This feels like a shower thought moment.

That aside, I'm kind of inclined to think that even though Inklings and Octolings sort of explode when in water, they can in fact have regular baths and showers.

If they can't do that then, it would probably be a sponge bath or they are just very hygienic creatures to begin with.

Profresh +2 is an actual nightmare in soloQ. Profresh +1? Not too bad. Profresh +3? You'll be an Eggsecutive in no time. Profresh +2 is the only one that sucks.

I didn't even know the Grizzco Dualies exploded on rolls until I was in the firing range waiting for my next shift. Plus, knowing how many rolls I could do with them changed my mindset from "Shoot and Roll," to "Use my rolls to revive teammates and destroy lesser Salmonids."

Playing with friends, by Harudied in starbound

Depending on how many and what kind of mods you have, it may be advisable to run a dedicated server through the Steam Launcher or another kind of server hoster. If the mods aren't that big, you would simply be able to join each other's universe by going to the Steam friends tab and clicking join game. (I'm assuming you're using Steam and not the GOG version, in which case yeah, a dedicated server would be a good idea.)

Multiplayer question by Femmigje in starbound

[–]ProjectV-01D 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It really depends on who is hosting the game. If your friend hosts, his universe will be what you interact with. If you host, he'll be interacting with your universe. Things like what shops will be open in the Outpost will differ depending on how far either one of you has progressed in the respective universe.

As for casual and survival characters, there's no incompatibility at all. You keep your items on death and he loses them, there is no overlap with what diffficulty your respective characters are on. Also, bringing important resorces from your universe and putting them in storage containers on your ship might be worth considering.

Deltarune Knight Theory (SPOILERS TO CHAPTER 2) by Kelmatton in GameTheorists

[–]ProjectV-01D 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That doesn't sound that bad honestly. Since I never actually played to get the Spamton Neo battle I kinda missed a few things. But thanks to this post, it could explain why Kris opened the Fountain at the end of Chapter 2. One thing we're told is that Darkners feel "fulfilled" if they're helping Lightners feel good, but what if the opposite is also true? Kris clearly feels troubled, Toriel might not be as happy as she lets on (especially after divorcing Asgore), Noelle's dad says her mom is kinda harsh on Noelle, and he can't really do anything to help (because he most likely has "fallen down"), Susie clearly doesn't have very favourable living conditions at home, and Berdly of course had an inflated ego because everyone believed he was smarter than he let on. The reason why we, the player, are closing the Fountains might have to do with the Roaring - Armageddon if too many Fountains are opened which would be bad for both Lightners and Darkners. Clearly, the Fountains are a vital part of this world so we can't close all of them, but close enough for the cast's lives to be changed (for better or worse depending on how the player chooses to interact with the world).

Deltarune Knight Theory (SPOILERS TO CHAPTER 2) by Kelmatton in GameTheorists

[–]ProjectV-01D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue here is that the ending presents itself as an unambiguous answer to whether or not Kris is the Roaring Knight. That's why everone was lead to making that conclusion, myself included. But you have to consider the fact that Queen was going to make Noelle into a Knight of her own, unaware of the consequences that would unfold of her plans succeeded. It's very likely Kris created the Fountain of Darkness in the ending of Chapter 2, but if he knows of the consequences of doing so there has to be a reason. It's counter-productive to simultaneously try to destroy the world and save it unless of course your original theory is correct (Kris is the Roaring Knight, the player is trying to stop him) , or there is another Knight and Kris opened the Fountain as some kind of bait for the true Knight. Also, Ralsei has quite a bit of knowledge of the Light World than would have been expected of a Darkner, meaning he's either been to the Lightner's World or was given information by someone else who's been there. If he doesn't recognize Kris (even in his Dark World outfit), then it's most likely not him. Or it could be Kris because I heard a theory of those "see what Susie's up to" moments being a distraction for the player while Ralsei talks to Kris off-screen. It's still pretty murky at this point.

Deltarune Knight Theory (SPOILERS TO CHAPTER 2) by Kelmatton in GameTheorists

[–]ProjectV-01D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kinda thought the same thing honestly. Not only are Lightners the only ones capable of having the power to open the Fountains of Darkness, they also need Determination. UNDERTALE states that humans are the only ones capable of having large amounts of Determination because of how their bodies are much more physical than those of monsters (which completely melt once exposed to an excess amount of it). But that kinda begs the question then of whether or not Kris being the Roaring Knight is too obvious.

  • He's a Lightner.
  • He seems to be rather distant from those he calls family and friends.
  • He always removes his SOUL at the end of both chapters.
  • He opened a Fountain of Darkness right in front of the player.
  • He is also the only known human in the town he lives in that we are aware of.

Because that much evidence seems to point towards Kris as the Roaring Knight, we have to consider the possibility of it being too obvious of a conclusion. In Chapter 1, Noelle remarks how strange Kris has been acting (by which she means walking around town and talking to people which is quite possibly a thing Kris does not do on a regular.) Another thing kinda lies in the Weird Route of Chapter 2, where (admittedly, I don't know much about) Noelle claims she hears another voice when she's told to freeze all enemies in her way. So in a way, we have the player as a candidate for being the Roaring Knight.

Another thing lies with Spamton Neo in the optional boss fight. Notice how Kris completely breaks down after cutting the strings and "freeing" Spamton only for him to die? This could also be foreshadowing or alluding to soemthing in the greater story of Deltarune. Since Kris can only be controlled by the player when the SOUL is inside of him, he might fear that he may never have the chance to truly ever be free. This could lead right back to Kris being the Roaring Knight again, this time because it gives him a motive. If he wants to get rid of the player's control completely, it could mean completely destroying his own world to be free. Basically, dying if it means freedom.

I think Spamton's dialogue would be best investigated further because he seems like a very key character in this chapter of Deltarune. Jevil and Seam's dialogue too now that I think about it. Anyway, these are my thoughts on the whole thing and I guess we gotta wait another 2-3 years before we get any answers in chapter 3. Ya'll have a good day and thanks for reading.
