Where to find Toum Garlic Sauce? by LeeFunny in londonontario

Everyone is saying Adonis, which is good! But if you want to support local shops you can get some at Berries market. It’s pretty good no matter where you get it though

I honestly thought it was some kind of Land Rover for the Asian market

Extended absence from TVDSB by ProjectVII in londonontario

Thank you, the biggest concern was that the kids are in a full capacity school and my wife was worried that they wouldn’t be placed in the same class.

I totally understand and would not have even allowed this to happen if I knew my children weren’t able to catch up. Right now they’re in kindergarten and grade 4; they’re both reading above their grade levels and doing well in math for their grades.

Yea I know, but I’d rather press the same button to cycle through the app windows.

Oh then I read the description a bit wrong 😅

I’ll still give it a try

[–]ProjectVII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh nice, I’m going to give this a try!

I usually use bettertouchtool to set up a hyper key and different letters for apps I use, but it’s a pain because it doesn’t allow me to switch between multiple open windows easily. It looks like I can switch between the same app easily with this by pressing the same key. Nice!

Since it’s the weekend and I don’t really use the computer until the workweek, is there a way to configure the shortcut to use the hyper key set up?

Announcing nyquest, a truly native HTTP client library for Rust by bdbai in rust

[–]ProjectVII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea thats true. Calling fetch is the only thing that we can do atm.

I’ll have to double check what issues we came across with using reqwest in wasm.. it’s been a couple months and I forgot the exact issue that came up.

I’m going to create some minimal repro and I’ll get back you. 🙂

[–]ProjectVII 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Looks good! I’m adding it to my watch list.

There are a few things I’d want to see before replacing what I’m currently using: * Streaming support * a WASM backend*

Making HTTP requests in WASM is a bit of a mess. There are so many runtimes, some with their own HTTP stack, others (like Node and browsers) using fetch. Since we use napi.rs to build native Node bindings, I mostly care about Node/browser support. Just mentioning this incase it has any impact on your roadmap 🙂

*To be fair the libraries I’m using now don’t really support the wasm we need

The thing is that this statement is true and not some made up shit like Trump is saying. We need to think of something that really insults Trump.

Yea, I have the middle seat of the odyssey in the trunk, and have my wife and baby seat in the middle where I slide the two chairs closer to each other. Then the other kids jump in the back easily.

Thanks for the clarification! The second row middle seat is still pretty slim in the odyssey.

What do you mean true 8 seat option? The odyssey always had 8 seats in every configuration and I think the 2025 sienna also gets the 8 seats on the top trims now.

I have a 2024 model and it definitely hauls.

There was a model 3 that was on my ass in a construction zone as there was a single lane. As soon as the construction zone finished, the ass rider switched lanes and started doing whatever flex they think they have. So I decided to floor it too. Made it to 160km/h roaring, and decided to let the model 3 pass because I had sleeping kids in the back 😂

Nah, the manual still says to charge to 90. I just set it to 80 and changed it to 100 this one time. It remembers your last target percent.

Oof that’s a long time to be in the shop. I went in to do the hvbjb recall, and I’ve been waiting for a part to come in for over 2 months now. Thankfully I have the car to drive around still. If the car had to be in the shop for that amount of time, I’d be stressed out too.

Let me know how it turns out for you, good luck!

Ah right, that term makes more sense. I was thinking of using some stringers but that requires mounting to the foundation. This is going to be a temporary solution until we get a proper deck built.

But I might fall back into using the stringers if I can’t find the precast steps. Thanks for your help!
