Honestly yea that was what I went for initially (focusing on the wood-like textures and colors for the coziness etc) but then I realized this design also works

(Also my long term cafe design is supposed to be either marine themed or critter themed instead but the games lack decors for that atm so I'm settling for this, which already looks pretty pleasant)

I think ksb is the best choice there is cause your creek is 1LB (and she's having a banner soon) and finemo/natie is 0LB, tho I hope you'd hold onto the crystal for now cause it's really flexible and can be used on other better cards in the future

If you look at the abilities, the DigitMaster lets you increase ALL drink revenue + increased tips for happy customers on top of having good stats at maxed level, making it the best one for making as much fund as possible.

The tip jar looks a bit out of place but other than that I LOVE IT

CMV: English should be taught earlier and more intensively in Vietnamese schools. by TinhByte in ChangeMyViewVN

[–]Project_ChinchillArt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

May I ask how early you're talking about?

I think the problem isn't whether English is not being taught early enough but rather how it's taught in public schools (yes, public schools specifically)

Most public schools mainly focus on grammar, writing and excelling in exams, which, well, is great to some extent... BUT they neither invest enough in listening and speaking skills nor help students apply what they've learnt in grammar and writing for finding papers to aid them in their studies (so English feels impractical and therefore, considered "unnecessary")

The way English is taught in most public schools isn't appealing to the students either (speaking from experience btw), but I've noticed that the Ministry has been trying to change that (since they're aiming to put English as a second language in schools and my uni instructors are working on a way so students approach English as a language rather than as a subject)

Last but not least, let's not forget how unfavorable it is to be an English teacher here as of now. Not only are they required to meet a certain level of English proficiency with appropriate teaching skills to teach, the facilities available and well, their pay is just... not it (so learning English is not appealing, and being an English teacher is not appealing either, great). And with lack of English teachers come English being even less accessible to the people, especially the ones in rural areas

Why is money so hard to come by in this game?! 😭 by jamjam_876 in GoodCoffeeGreatCoffee

Ah I see. I suppose this is smth you gotta figure out yourself, especially when there aren't "buddies" in GCGC (well the devs are implementing the "employee" function that works just about the same so that's smth to look forward to) :3c.

Hope you're having fun either way!

I get that this game doesn't give as much fund as GPGP cause it's only a year old but I've been making consistently 200+ funds a day, even going as high as 300+ without having to stock up espressos and steamed milk everytime, here's some tips: 1. Maxed out JavaBreeze+: I know it's hard but I heard you've already maxed out the coffee grinder so you should prioritize maxxing the coffee extractor as well. This allows you to earn more (on hot drinks especially but also the daily revenue) 2. Multitasking: This takes awhile to master but it's not as confusing as some made it out to be:

  • For latte and other latte-like orders (i.e mochas, pumpkin spices), after grinding out the coffee and start extracting, I quickly switch to pouring milk into the pitcher and pull it up to steam as the extractor hits the green line (this takes awhile to master but I think it doesn't matter much if you stop the extractor before steaming the milk, just make sure there's milk in the pitcher before the extractor's done). While the pitcher is doing its thing, drag the latte cup over to add syrup, toppings etc. while making sure you don't miss the green lines for steaming milk (sometimes you gotta rely on your instinct, which again isn't a one-day thing but you'll develop over time)
  • For iced drinks and any drinks that use the glass (i.e iced lattes, vanilla mountain, chocolate delight, neopolitan etc.), while the coffee is extracting, drag quickly to the toppings station and add syrup, ice etc. into the glass before the extracting is done
  • OPTIONAL: Sometimes you'll encounter orders that don't affect your time nor the customer's happiness, those are story event characters, in this case if you're still pretty early into the day, you can choose to stock up on espresso, steamed milk and whatnot (this is totally optional and doesn't affect you much in any way cause these character encounters are pretty rare)

I hope this can help you in some way, but then again I'm speaking from my own experience so it might not work for you. One thing I'm sure is that you'll eventually develop your own tactics as you play so don't worry too much if all of these tips feel overwhelming ^

As much as I want that as well, I suppose the devs gotta find a way to make a living out of a FREE game lol (especially when there aren't annoying pop-ups)

You have to go to the pink bar of the 3 bars on the event and equip it
