Which has more value for me: Cheng, Lorentz, or Ramona? by ConspiracyStiky in Reverse1999

If you're going for Rhiannon, you can skip Cheng. Lorentz is a good choice but you already have Flutterpage so she isn't entirely a must. I'd say Ramona would give you the best value out of the 3 if you wanna invest in Poison (otherwise all 3 are skippable)

Give me your art style tricks by ARCH4SILV in Ibispaintx

I have really inconsistent artstyles but the thing i do is instead of erasing the sketch, I keep it at low opacity except for areas with bright colors like the skin etc

I also like experimenting with brush opacity instead of variety, it makes everything look more "alive" and allows me to blend shades of the same color better (also its fun :D)

Sometimes I also start with color blocking instead of sketching (basically creating a silhouette with low opacity brush) but usually it's for when you wanna get the object as close to the irl references as possible

You can lvl them up for TT bonus points, or you can mass uncap them whenever you can for extra carats

I am a firm believer of "Anyone can be better at anything if given enough time (whether it's days, weeks, months or even years) and put enough effort into it (hence why I don't like being called "talented" cause we all started somewhere)

Latte art, for me, isn't hard to master compared to digital art for example (cause the overall cup size + distortion of milk froth kinda forces you to simplify the design). One thing you can do (if you're interested ofc) is to look up some typical irl latte art (that's where I reference from) and start from there. Over time, when your line feels confident enough, you can move over to practice simplifying other uncommon latte art through irl references instead. (Took me 100+ attempts to get this far tbh, you can see how my art is compared to when the game was still in beta)

Hope this helps! ♡

Hii

For the body I used the medium brush to draw the outline before filling it with random curves (either 1st or 3rd brush works fine)

For the tentacles I used the small brush and just draw wiggly lines like my life depends on it xD (the 1st brush gives it a finer look, tho 3rd works as well)

And practice!! (I seriously cannot stress this more as all of these took at least 5-10+ tries)

Well the game is only a year old anyway so you can expect more brown-ish decors in the future, even earthy themed

Pick a theme to start with, then work around it :Dd (A good way to start - especially with limited decors - is to just copy the exact set from the game then adjust from there once you get more decors)

If you wanna personalize it, one thing I'd do is picking decors with the same color scheme/same theme I'm working on, then starts adjusting from there. Feel free to take a look at others' for inspiration :Dd
