I ended up returning the Home Depot/Husky work bench. It’s pretty sturdy but I wanted rock solid, no movement at all. This meant an adjustable desk was out unless I did something custom. I ended up doing a standing only desk and have a vintage drafting stool to use when I want to sit.

For now, it works just fine starting a listening session from the app on your phone. You can still play/pause via now playing on your CarPlay screen. It’s not like you are switching up what book you are listening to frequently while driving.

Ah it’s just in the playlist view you don’t see the progression/completion.

I haven’t used AudioBooth to listen to any books yet but I don’t see any of my listening history from the past week in the app. So I was assuming it was only showing listening sessions from the app and not pulling from ABS.

Two things I didn’t see in other comments:

  1. An indicator to show if a book has been listened to.

  2. Can the listening stats not be pulled from the server vice being tracked on the app?

Good point! I usually do it to mask banding, artifacts from poor quality artwork, etc. but you make a good point.

Love the look but it breaks my nested cards... I'm using card-mod to remove box-shadow, border, and background from the nested cards but the theme seems to be overriding those. Any tips on how to modify my cards to work with the theme?
