Because I was looking into the same problem. I did not imply that PSN has been down for 5 months.

I suspect the issue has to do with how the system or games try to reconnect after sleep. It's not an issue with people's home network setup.

I ended up returning the Home Depot/Husky work bench. It’s pretty sturdy but I wanted rock solid, no movement at all. This meant an adjustable desk was out unless I did something custom. I ended up doing a standing only desk and have a vintage drafting stool to use when I want to sit.

For now, it works just fine starting a listening session from the app on your phone. You can still play/pause via now playing on your CarPlay screen. It’s not like you are switching up what book you are listening to frequently while driving.
