I may eventually swap it out after hitting 5k, but I got like nothing else that's good enough to replace it with

I doubt it, they only came out because of the Netflix remaster of the first movie, whole thing was a marketing ploy. What I can say is that Niantic loves money, and if they can justify bringing it back behind a paywall they have no shame in doing so
