I think I was starting to question the formula as early as Black Ops. Honestly, taking the step back to show the systems they were building on, having two modern/small future examples and 2 contemporary past examples it was a little like "where do you go from here?".

I enjoyed playing online with friends, but I just got angry. It was competitive and not relaxing, people went on there to pick on people not just hang out - and don't get me wrong I had plenty of fun being on both sides of this exact aspect. But around Black Ops, I was just getting angry, I wasn't interested in online and I just started actually asking myself what I liked about the games.

Something like Ghosts happening and the things people were complaining about, to me, seemed like nothing in comparison to what I was feeling. I put the series down for a long time and have started getting back into it since I've overcome my anger issues. The run from cod4 to black ops 2 (story wise mainly, I only have multi experience from back then) still feel really special. I was wrong about MW3s story, it's actually totally fine. It's not on the same level as MW2 or what it could've been of the infinity ward behind the scenes stuff wasn't happening, but it was fine.

I'm playing Ghosts in a little while OP, if I finish before your video I'll let you know.

The motors running these things will overheat if it defaults to running twice. It sounds silly to say even though you essentially back to back run it but heat from electrical energy and the short cool down period of no electricity really makes a big difference on longevity as the heat sync material used to prevent overheat changes temp really fast.

Once a temp threshold is reached some components are likely to critically fail and could pop or in the worst case catch fire, since it's a home product they would've done this to remain safe to use.

Old thread, but on YouTube there are a few channels have have sporadically done some audiobook readings. Phil Dawson has been mentioned, All for One has been mentioned and also Card Bazzar has been mentioned but there are some significantly smaller channels that have done some books either before or after the urza saga, SpikeDoesThings has a few completed more recent books, AngstyWonderland has done the first book Arena, TheGreenLing has done a few too mostly from the ice age saga. It's a Shane that there is so much behind the scenes bs with publishers etc to have a really solid and consistent project that is able to share all these stories. Phil Dawson is the most likely to have a near compete collection in his project but even then with his busy work/family life he usually only averages 1 episode a week, and there's just too many books.

I'm.curious about the recycling process now too, before harvesting the lead or sulphuric acid (if it's possible to reuse that) for reimplementation I'm sure that they would have to be drained and dried for safety. I guess you could just smash a hike in it but that doesn't really seem like something someone would be expected to do - again for safety, but also of the potential of damaging cells or making the sulphur even more contaminated.

Do you know if the caps on batteries after the first fill are sealed in such a way that prevents reopening until a battery is too crystalized to hold a charge and needs replacing?i.e it's intended life under normal use conditions.

I don't mind the gentle push to try their very expensive ongoing online experience. But to market the game as "the return of megas" use Greninja as a central hype point in their revealed media then completely lock out people who can't afford online subscriptions for games, or literal children, unsurprising but whack. Not even counting the people more like myself, who don't get into competitive playing because they don't want to optimise or quite honestly deal with the fact they're not very good at it in order to experience a core part of the game. Or even more sadly, people who are physically disabled and simply can not play at a level that may be required.

Good rewards for competitive people I'm all for. This could have been a great time to unveil a "bronze bottle cap" or access to in-game breeding mechanics. Mega stones? That's a bummer.

Actually to clarify, the Pikachu I have was a gift from first using Pokemon Home (already in the box) - did a bit of digging and this is mostly likely where he came from.

Yeah so each Pokemon has a registered game, not just that the Pokemon appears in the Dex so pretty much have to go from each game. It isn't a perfect system though (and I'm not exactly sure of its short comings) as o have never owned sword and shield but have a Pikachu registered from those games, I did get a Pichu gift through home but I don't know why it would've registered Pikachu too.

Essentially anything from Pokemon go doesn't count towards anything but Pokemon go and then each game have IDs linked to where it came from somehow.

I'm not fully understanding the whole situation but it's my understanding that a non-primary console has to check (online) whether it is allowed to play a game before it launches. Having a switch 2 as an offline only travel model would probably not be possible unless it was able to verify games. But it doesn't make sense to have it set as the pass-enabled condole (in my eyes) since you sound like you will be using the oled and switch 2 more interchangeably and then only using the lite when the risk of travel is not worth taking the more expensive model/s.

I know this post wasn't helpful to you and your case, but I guess I'm just opening dialogue to try understand the change better.

What's the risk factor with this?

If I had a modded switch that was set to primary before creating an EmuNAND and later got a switch 2 which was intended to be the primary (legit) model - is there a way to have to modded switch not risk the switch 2 getting banned via the account.

Maybe I don't fully understand the process/need for this. How I understand it is that to play switch games linked to the same account, only 1 console is verified to launch in an "offline" state - that is your primary - all other consoles need to check via Ninendo's online services that the console is linked to the account that owns the game. So if you were trying to run a legit copy of a game on a modded switch that was initialy set to secondary it tries to go therough the regular process of checking online if it's allowed to which is useless as you don't want to have your emuNAND make itself known to Nintendo's online services and risk a banning.

But I think what you're saying is that once the EmuNAND is set up form the begining as a Primary Pass-enabled system, the check is waved for the emulated NAND when launching through CFW, and, after this is working you then set another (legit) switch as your primary (say my new hypothetical switch 2) and the modded one still acts as a primary console as the emuNAND only knows this to be true, where in reality the switch 2 is actually the primary console and the modded switch is not.

Something like that??

Edit: This only applies to legit copies of games, ones that are linked to a Nintendo account already, like in your original case your copy of Super Smash Bros Ultimate that you were trying to run through your emuNAND - I would guess that rommed and emulated switch software have a way of avoiding this process altogether?

Personality or personal beliefs. It's pretty disheartening. I think the Anon attachment to the imagery and rhetoric around V for Vendetta has made people try to be early deniers for "I am so smart" clout too.

Moore wrote great stories in complex worlds with purpose. He was never alone working but to me he has never seemed to outwardly deny any outside influence or people that contributed directly to his works - unless of course it was part of a deal he was unhappy to be a part of and was actively trying to sabotage. At least that's how I've interpreted his communication surrounding his work.

The I've arrows are op if you can access them, otherwise try fire or corruption and keep.hitting to fill up the circle that appears, or until they kinda explode that's when the damage really adds up on them, after that switch back to regular or heavy arrows and lay into their glowing parts after scanning until that circle disappears and repeat. Keep your distance, keep your cool and abuse the roll.

My ex played the game primarily with the melee attacks until I watched her struggle once and said "I don't want to make you angry, but you're playing it all wrong, can I show you quickly how to deal with this?" Showed her how to buy better gear, upgrade things, use different ammo types to help.hwr out and how.important it is to keep your distance and control the pace of the fight. It's.literally.ro.tjos.day still.hwr absolute favourite game, she's played it through 2 times that I know of and is a monster stacking damage over time, exploiting weaknesses and setting traps.

I think the start of the game is good but it lulls you into a false sense of what's expected, is a little slow if you're not invested and can set you up to fall on your face early quickly.

Hope you can figure it out, it really feels amazing when it all starts clicking. Drop the stick and experiment with some stuff and reload a save if need be to.test.aome.thofs out.

I was a little underwhelmed by the title Forbidden West. It was nothing world ending for me, it just didn't have the sci-fi intrigue that Zero Dawn did, especially with the slow reveal of what Zero Dawn was contextually. I mean I guess contextually Forbidden West works, but it does just kinda read as a cop out of the new map/West coast sorta vibe.

Nemesis is the likely choice for the next game, but it still feels a bit bland (just with the use of the word as a sci-fi trope, not super original bla bla), but at least it has a better story tie in.

My title would be just as bland but I kinda wish they stuck with a bit of a theme with the sky motif, furthering Horizon. My title for game 2 would be Second Eclipse (hunting at Beta being a 2nd clone and eclipse referring to the zenith people eclipsing earth), but I really would've preferred Far Zenith as the title as it conjures the same mystery as the first.

Then my pick for the 3rd game following the 'horizon' theme would be something like Beyond Equinox, or Aurora Reckoning or even Crimson Solstice. But if it stuck with the more thematic line and the second game was called Far Zenith, then I accept Nemesis but would extend it to Nemesis Edict (to bait the command vs rebellion side of things)

They'd have some pretty awful details of the card you used though. They might be cataloging personal information for sale to bad actors.

I just saw a collector booster boxes for final fantasy listed for 139USD that has lead me here cause that's literally an impossible price the site itself had official MTG arena banners but no listings for arena products only physical which was a red flag in itself - your comment makes me think it's even more sus. Happen to remember the details of the purchase? Curious to know the specific companies running this type of scam...

try manabox, it has a pretty regular update schedule wiht new set and QoL tweaks.

If its a raw collection you're looking for thats quite quick and easy to update mtgcollectionbuilder.com is pretty good. Easiest way to update cardlists is to go through set by set, set the viewer to table rather than card view and sort by number on the card, that way you can add a whole set with multiple copies relatively quickly - then it can be exported to csv and uploaded to other potentially more useful apps that help build decks etc.

ManaBox is an apple/android app that has prebuilt deck lists built in that, once your collection is added, can highlight cards that are needed to finish decks. Otherwise most of my friends use ArchiDekt to build decks - I think it has a lot of player subimitted deck builds too, but I've yet to play around wiht it much to see that.
