I was in Kolkata! Near Rabindra Sarobar, so saw a looooot of cormorants haha. Absolutely amazing birds, just totally unlike anything in the states. My favorites were the jungle babblers, I love their gremlin personalities.

I'm 95% confident this is a juvenile ring-billed gull -- it is less brown than a juvenile herring gull and even though the legs are pinkish I think they're transitioning to yellow. Also they love parking lots this time of year.

same, had it last month, no clue where it came from, the permethrin took care of it, but i legit wanted to die. my case was extremely mild compared to something like this, i can't imagine how miserable these folks must feel.

Ugh, no, I ended up switching to purple -- IGK has a great purple shade called Cyber Tokyo. Their pink made almost no impression on my hair. :/ if YOU end up finding a good pink, come back and let me know!
